    A lot of personal things are there at orkut to share with family and friends. Why should one can add a stranger to access their personal things? better you start a useful information thread rather than creating useless threads like this.

    People are ditching Orkut and moving to Facebook. Orkut is somehow highly popular in developing nations like India, Brazil... but due to the New Orkut gimmick by Google, people are loosing interest in the same. Also, facebook gives an overall better experience.

    Orkut is good if you only look for making some friends and just fun.
    It has almost nil business value when it comes of promotions.

    I stopped using it.

    Orkut Is going Down if you see teir alxa ranking their traffic has really dropped
    They started from 2004 n never brought anything new Just those applications that are worth nothing

    Google has orphned orkut it is a place without anyone from Google Moderating it
