looking for oscommerce alternative

    i am looking for an alternative to oscommerce. I need something that i can set up multiple stores.. right now i have about 20 stores to set up and I would like to set up over 1000 down the road.

    please suggest some good software.

    I think I am going to use dnn and either use the built in store module or purchase a 3rd party module for it.

    The eshops plugin on wordpress is great. Lots of alternatives, but what may be the best choice for you really depends on how your product fulfillment is set up.

    Cre Loaded is an adaption of oscommerce, however the latest version is very good. For multiple stores I would recommend Magento.

    Personally i don't like magento. I don't know why but i find it really slow compared to zencart. My favourite is x-cart. Although paid, its really worth it.

    Just my 2 cents...
