How much traffic DP gives you?

well it's about 5 a day but I don't use DP as a source of traffic ...

 

It totally depends how relevant you are.

 

niche doesn't really matter on getting them there--now as far as stickyness is concerned -- I cant guarantee they will come back-- that depends on your content.

tell ya what to prove my point-- unfortunately I don't have 7000 but I'll make a fun site with a hit counter on the bottom-- you pick the niche and lets see how many hits I can get for free.

I'm thinking something like back hair, or broken toys for the subject. but I'll leave that up to you.

I think its all depend on quality and quantity of posts.

Very True if you say Something Smart then People will visit you there are Many that Just Write "I don't know" and Annoy the Members.If you Are Going to Post something then Make it Informative as The Other Members Will Remember you and Know that you are Not Worth Visiting

 

its not just the traffic that counts, its converting traffic that counts. i can put together a group of people and start digging, stumbling, etc and get thousands of visitors to my site every day. but how many of them will get me a sale? it is the targetted traffic and if someone was spending money of DP advertising his/her product, then it must have been something that DP users need/want.

also, its not always the initial return that matters, its the brand awareness as well. 40k visitors is not just 40k visitors, another few hundred thousand people must have seen the ads and some would probably visit the site at a later date. people who spend 7k on advertising, dont take them lightly as they know what they are doing and how to get the most bang for their bucks

 

It depends on how many threads, how many posts and how many comments you have oh DP.

 

Do you get a backlink for every post or not?

 

I get like 0/day for my Anime website - but that doesn't really bother me. I get heaps from other sources

 

well it is around 40 daily, but dp is all about sharing your knowledge and get suggestions, not for traffic..

 

It all Depends Where you Post. If you Post in a Good Thread and Give a Good answer one that Stands out From the Rest you Could get much more Traffic from Digital point Forums.

 

I don't really get very much traffic but I guess it is good for building back links and also sharing your knowledge with others. I hope that people who enjoy my post or find it useful will see my signature and click my links and check out my website.

I only get 3 visitors per day from advertising links in my signature.

Only a couple a day. Google Analytics says it's #17th as a source. I have spammer sites fudging their inbounds that rank higher. (Which I guess is pretty sad if you think about it.)
