installing wordpress

    Hello there

    I do not know very well if this is the best place for this post. Sorry, if not. Anyways, I would appreciate if any of you could give me a hint about why I just see a blank page when I click

    I uploaded all the unzipped wordpress installation file and uploaded the content into the blog directory

    Now I do not understand why I do not even see anything in this page of installation. I just see blank. Does any of you have any idea about it?

    You should use fantasico to install Wordpress. It is very good especially if you do not know how to install Wordpress.

    I get redirected to a free hosting site from any of the links, maybe they're giving you trouble.

    Did you create a database and user with privalleges and fill out all the info in wp-config.sample.php and then rename it to wp-config.php?

    Thanks for the info because I just checked what you say. Thanks, it is true. I do not understand why this is happening. Any idea?
    This is the last thing I expected from this hosting provider since I just move to this new one which is the one you are being redirected. I do not have idea about why I am being redirected.
    Any help is appreciated.

    I just had to give permissions again to the public_html folder of my remote server.
    Now it is working.
    Therefore solved.
    Thanks for suggesting fantastico but I am not very fun of things that do not let you control things because sooner or later you will need to take that control.
