looks good. just need to work on backlinks and increase your page rank, then traffic will increase as will earnings....

 

Throw down some backlinks to increase traffic, otherwise the content looks good.

I remember when I hhit the $10 days. And like you I wanted to know how to increase this

The simple answer is two fold

First More traffic, preferably of the search engine variety
second, more pages. Makes a whole world of difference

I never got high optimisation of ad placement. Everything I care is traffic and visitors. When offer large number of articles and good SEO you will get high traffic daily, which will bring you more than 10 USD. Important is to care about content, even pictures (names, alt texts) because they will bring visitors to your website, who will turn into money

 

You guys are wrong about the right side ads. Many research and posts have already mentioned that top center and top left corner are best placements.

Also, your AdSense colors should blend in with the site. The links should follow the light blue colors.

You can put the ads right on top of the labels so it will all look like labels.

 

Where are you getting your traffic? Are they from organic searches?

I'm in doubt with his $10 somehow.
It's either he got lucky with some expensive clicks or he's doing something behind the scene.
A simple 2 year blog on average 5 posts a month getting $10 a day kinda hard.
At an average conversion rate of 1-3%, taking $0.50 a click for example is already expensive average clicks.
You need 20 clicks a day at a total of 1000 page views a day.

With such optimistic calculations he will still need 1000 visits a day on that simple blog.
Not impossible but doesn't seems very "real" to me.
His alexa ranking is 2 million and dropped to 5 million, means he barely gets 10 visitors a day on estimations.
As alexa ranking is based on traffic, my average 30visitors/day site has around alexa ranking of 1million.

Sorry for being negative and offensive but I'm just stating facts and analysis.
