How do i get traffic from social networking sites?

Hi, I m new to SEO and i want to know that how i will get traffic from registering in Social Networking site....

 

You can not get traffic by just registering on social network site and dropping your site links here and there. To get traffic from Social Networking sites you must first engage yourself on such sites, make relationships with other users, contribute something informational and then only you can generate traffic to your site.

 

You need to involve yourself in conversations with other users and try to increase your connections with other members so that your website gets promoted.

 

Social Networking is very give-take, you need to engage your followers, and make sure that they get something out of the relationship. Then if you want to share something with those followers they will be more receptive.

If your talking technically then it's simple, put links in posts, tweets or statuses to your website, or advertise you web address in your profiles.

The best part about getting traffic from these network is the cost.Its free traffic. social networking site is a unique in a way that is generate large number of traffic to the desired website. create a group for some ravishing activity like snoring.

 

You can't just abandon traditional methods of PR/marketing.

 

Of course social media gives your blog or site a lot of traffic without any cost....

 

You can promote about things and updates about your site. Be social enough to connect and interact with other users. Joining or following other social accounts/users that are related to your site can also be helpful.

Content is KING when it comes to Social networking sites. If you post crap all the time and you post 12 times a day, then you're only going to piss off your users and friends.
