Propeller.com sucks?

I was on front page of propeller.com and got only few visits from there. I was most voted story there (positioned on about middle of front page).

Got only few visitors from there, something like 40. What's going on, is propeller.com dead?

Anyone using it to? How much traffic do you usually get?

 

Usually you dont get traffic from being on the front page itself. We need to form a social network over there, to get better traffic. Propeller has been one of the top social bookmarking site for years with PR8 and all are do follow links. I dont think there is any drop in traffic for propeller as such.

 

I use propeller for fast indexing only, never really expected traffic from them.

 

I thought propeller will get me good traffic like stumble upon. but Now i see how it work. Thanks you guys.

 

Exactly they are just another Digg/Reddit ripoff. I usually get around 40-60 visitors whenever an article of mine hits the front page, but it's mostly for the backlinks I gain from the 1,200 Alexa Rank site with a PR 6 or 7... very nice backlink to have

 

Exactly I'm also using propeller only for fast indexing and back links, don't want traffic from it, bcoz you can't get your targeted traffic.

 

well I was surprised how much this site went to sh*t. I remember I could ger 6k visitors from netscape.com (former propeller.com)

Usually if your content is not lovely enough, it will be quite hard to get traffic from social bookmarking sites. I like propeller because it helps a lot in fast indexing. All of the links are dofollow, which is very SEO friendly.

 

I'm getting a good traffic with propeller. All you need to do is gain your friends and join in many groups.. Also make sure you've inputed the right information in submitting your story. Like the tags and etc. Additionally, make your title very effective so that people will view your story... So it really depends on how we gonna handled it.

 

I use propeller for indexing it hits my site faster when i publish articles and when google and yahoo sees my page linked in they connect me faster in results of search engines.

 

i use propeller just for backlink and little traffic

I used in 3 years ago almost every day. but after redesign it became something terrible. Non of my friends continue reading it.

Traffic from there wasn't an issue for me. But web presence to gain backlinks. - Fast indexing, you mean you'll be indexed faster when you'll be posting there?

 

propeller sucks, period
