    Hello,

I dont want this to be my first post in the forum because I think its rude to receive information and help without adding quality to the forum but.... I have a question that I need a lot of help with.

I found this forum in the warrior forum and I read many posts about buying sites and I saw a lot of information here.

I asked the question in the warrior fourm and I got an idea to buy many sites and create a large network of sites on all different topics.

I will have to chose the sites carefully, but with 150k there is some room for error and with this type of business you are going to run into many sites that are duds.

So I am throwing the question out in this forum... what whould you do with this money?...how would you spend it?....what do you think of my idea?

    Thank You,

    George Christodoulou

I'd buy 1 site or maybe 2. A large network on different topics, just means a lot of generic and crappy content (and fewer visitors). Buy 1 or 2 sites that interest you (and you know a lot about). The return will be higher in the end.

But personally, with 150k (and some time), you could really make a fine site from scratch and be much happier with it. If I had 150k startup capital, sky would be the limit!

I have to agree. I think that buying a network of sites, is going to reduce the quality of each individual site a lot. Stick to a few, and make them as high of quality as possible. Sticking with a topic you are passionate about is also important because you can only take so much of something that you really have no interest in.

As far as the idea itself. What is your actual goal? Are you trying to make a retail ecommerce enterprise, or more of a social site getting income from advertising or something nontangible.

I disagree your putting all your eggs in the one basket by buying only one site in one niche. Buy many quality sites covering different niches, which are not seasonal and have various revenue streams. Buy one site and if you get hit in the SERP's there's goes the bulk of your online income.

1 site - 1 niche and 1 product type that you know will bring more than 10K per day.

I would hire an employee or two and get moving in that direction creating a network (or single site) from scratch.

I'd buy a house every year and invest the rental income, or a small apartment building every 4 years... this is your best bet because if you are looking to spend that kind of cash on a website(s) and have to ask what others' would do, there's a problem.

However, I'll throw in my 2c just in case it helps you out.

Idea #1. Pick a very popular & profitable niche, build/buy a product and market your way to the top. You'll make a fortune if you succeed and if you don't you'll lose a lot of cash.

Idea #2. Pick 2 or 3 profitable topics, hire a few employees (local) to work with you on content creation/maintenance and a few overseas (cheaper/freelance) to do graphics/programming for a few KICK ASS content sites. Make sure your local employees are experts on each topic and full/part time.

This will let you make at least 100 pages of web content each day to feed about 2 or 3 AUTHORITY type sites, and 200 small satelite sites/directories that don't need much content.

You'll still have some money left over, go out and buy a few HIGH TRAFFIC sites in the same industry (low revenue but high traffic) since this will provide you a source of well targeted visitors for cheaper than any ad network.

Put it all together and you'll have 2 or 3 MAJOR sites (in that many niches) and a couple of hundred small satelite sites to provide links, support, creadability and misc traffic to the main sites. You'll also have a few sites to drive the initial traffic.

PS: Don't forget to build an email list.

If i was you i would start with one site to start with , make a site you know alot about always keep your site upto date with new content and things that will intrest your members, remember your members are the ones that keep your site / sites alive or bussiness site ect,
The key thing to remember is to alway plain your site layout and what your going to do with it and where you wont the site to go in the future.

I know what i would do with that much money but every one has a diffrent indea of what thay wont to do with it.

The only person that can realy anserw these qestions you are asking is your self realy no good to do a site or somthink you dont know anythink about.

Keep the 150k/year income and be happy? J/K, save up for two years (bank?) and take the 300k and buy a site or ten that make a total of 37.5k/month. (The typical going rate is 8 months of income, right?) So now you wait 2 years and have 900k.
    Then you buy with 900k = 112.5k/month
    Wait 2 years
Then you buy with 2.7 million = 337.5k/month.
    Wait 2 years
Then you buy with 8.1 million = 1012.5k/month
    Wait 2 years
Then you buy with 24.3 million = 3037.5k/month
Then you retire with an income of 36 million a year.

Gee, isnt math fun and impossible? :)
