How much should I be making

Discussion in 'General Business' started by vertabatim, Dec 30, 2009.

I have a gaming blog site that gets about 100 unique views per day with a 50% bounce rate. How much money could I be earning? more than $0.03c a day?

I am looking for some more profitable ideas to monetize my site.

    Thanks.

The site is in my signature.

You can definitely earn $0.03c a day. I'm sure you deserve more, though. You might want to rearrange where you've positioned your ad blocks.

Well you have placed adbride ads on your blog so i think you were banned in adsense..:p

Anyways whatever you have done, but your blog is so new + less content so you need to add more content, And blog design look like so simple..so it's not an attractive blog , so you need improve your blog design/templete.

You can also join any affiliate network to make more money..(It's not an easy ..:D)

But i would suggest you : Don't run behind money now, make your blog fantastic then money will come automatically..;)

    Good luck!:)

yes , you should move to a .com domain and try to make your site's skin more attractive , a gaming site should have some flash content and only ads of banners.

try buying your own domain, and changing the theme, and building an asset for yourself instead of someone else....

    - edit - I guess there are a few others that also recommend this idea, i didnt read the entire thread. But I think this is exactly what you need to do.

Since your site about game, then i would suggest you make some affiliate with some company to sell their games.
If you can get 10 sales/day then $100/day income is possible.

I have looked into an affiliate with amazon but never really thought it could do that much, but I may try it out when I get a .com.

And most of my traffic is from forums and I only get about 2-3 a day from google. Close to 80% of the traffic is US so it can be profitable.

if you go with an affiliate program like amazon... then it doesnt matter where your visitors are from with a website like yours. Just go through amazon and pick out video games you want to write reviews on then link to them with your affiliate code and you are paid...........eventually :p

I had another quick look at Amazon's affiliate program and I think it could work well, I am also trying to sell some private ads for $3-$5 a month to try and cut out the middle man, no luck so far.
