Hey guys, I am currently in the process of creating a website that offers forum and blog posting services. My question is what should I charge per post? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Even for a 'professional' and quality forum posting service? I thought I'd be charing around $.15-$.20 per post.

General rate is $10 for 100 posts.
    You can go with it.
Most of the people use it in this format only.

My opinion for your question is "What sort of value I can provide ?"

After you give people value, build up good reputation, money always follows. Good Luck To YOU !

$10 for 100 that is the prevailing rate of market. If you want to capture the market offer on less price with quality service.

I think it should vary with the quality and nature of your posts. Maybe .10 is good for a straight up backlink post. I contract and pay more for posts that are going to lead into sales........

Actually the price is determined by buyer point of view.
If for example you're pro in webmaster, then you can charge more for webmaster forum posting.
Normal industry rate is range $0.08 to $0.10

It's not a good idea to start a website and base your prices off of what other people say you should charge. You need to consider the service you offer and the value it provides. Test the waters a bit with your pricing and see how your customers respond. Also, when choosing your price slab, you are targeting a segment of the market. Consider the market you want to be in, and then determine your prices. Just make sure you've got the quality to back it up and you'll have more business than you can handle. Believe me, word travels fast!

I'd pay $10 for 100 posts (as this is the marketing standard). However, I'd also make a system where you'll get $0.05 as the base price, additional $0.02 for starting a new thread (cap # of threads they can create), then $0.01 for each 10 words implemented in the post (cap this as well).

$0.15 per post would be a descent amount but the question about the quality of post still remains. The general trend is $10 for 100 post.

I think the OP is banned, and the discussion on this thread should be stopped.

Quality forum posting is usually offered between $0.15 and $0.25 per a minimum of 15 words, whether replying or creating new threads
