Simple steps to create a Squidoo Lens

Hey,

Thought i would share some simple steps to start a Squidoo lens for those who are new to squidoo and make some money, this is how i started with my squidoo lens and catch up making some money, as i saw the rising demand for New year greetings Hope this helps you all too.

1. First step towards creating a Squidoo lens is finding a topic that you like to write a Lens on

2. You can use google Trends or Yahoo Buzz to find out a topic of high demand and create a lens on that topic.

3. Google and find every information on the topic and create a neat word document with images, links etc.

4. Create a Squidoo account and start off. Be sure to choose the option that indicates you want to earn money from your lens.

5. Organize the data and upload it to the new Squidoo lens and make sure you have all the options and modules in the wizard ccomplete.

Once completed , you are ready to publish, so publish it and also try to promote it by putting your squidoo lens at forums etc for additional traffic !

It should be mentioned too that the lens should be updated on a regular basis. It also helps to get involved with the Squidoo community to spread the word about your lens.

yes, Lens is just like a website or a webpage if you imagine Squidoo to be the Internet itself, it has small webpages and their own popularity and intur webpage ranks. optimize it to your best with the best content and get rewarded by the best earnings thru the adsense on your page!

Yes, that is true, i have found squidoo very effective, compared to digg, dont know what others feel

You should update your lens often (At least once in a week)

Use different modules so that your lens can be more beautiful

Take part in various squidoo forum so that you can have your own network as well.

ty fpr tips, i tried with squidoo long time ago, but was too lazy and had no time to earn cents.

 

dont do it for the cents, it is mainly for backlinks and it helps drive traffic to your blog

 

It is also a good idea to submit your created squidoo lens to social bookmark sites to get additional backlinks and traffic...

Also make comments on other lenses with the same topic as your lens and tell them about your lens too.
