The size of google adsense ads

I'm considering placing adsense on my website but when i looked into how adsense places the ads i found that there are only a certain number of possible layouts that you can use. This is excellent if you have a reasonable screen resolution but i've put a lot of effort in the webpages to display on various screen resolutions so that your perception of the website is not affected even if you have a "run of the mill" system.

The concern i have is that if the adsense advert formats are static in size then by placing them on my website and having a substandard system view the site, the user will see a gigantic adsense advert with a huge font size that will overshadow everything else on the site. Does adsense take this into consideration when deciding the size and font size of the advert box or are we allowed to create advert formats that are factors of the static formats.

ie the static format is 250X250 but to generate ads in proportion to the rest of the site i create a format of 125X125?

    Thanks in advance
    Clinton

You can change the ad size once you'e installed them.

Simply amend the ad dimensions in html and your ads will be amended on your site. You can change the colours that way too!

Your not. Doing this risks losing your account. Premium publishers have different sized ads.

My honest opinion here would be to just ignore the people using below 1024x768, even that setting I don't think about to much. I know "Not everyone has money", but at the same time, the cost for a decent screen/video card is so cheap nowadays. Especially to reach a 1024x768 requirement.

Definitely a No No, changing the adsense codes is against adsense TOS. Publishers are only allowed to use pre format adsense ads and messing with the codes could spell BAN.
