The Proxy Discussion Thread

I decided to try something different and automate things.

I've created this: Proxy Nail

It's an automated list of proxies, which pulls new proxies every few hours and displays them under "Latest Proxies". It also promotes one randomly picked good proxy at the homepage and in order to see the full list of (currently above 6000) proxy sites, the visitor must fill a short survey.

Do you think that would work and how do I attract more traffic for it besides traditional methods (group posting and proxy lists)?

-must not have any limitation of traffic
-must accept proxies, torrent sites etc

I'm wondering whether to make this into a "topsite" that lists my proxies only (I only have 6 at the moment) or just to use it for a new proxy. Any advice?

 

If you plan to regularly release new proxies, make it into a topsite for your sites only. (Disable the submissions page if any, so others don't submit their proxies)

Otherwise make it into a SSL proxy and SEO it. (To make the most of it, as it is a memorable .com)

Thanks. If I made a topsite it would just be a fairly simple list that shuffled the order that my proxies were shown on each page load. I do plan on releasing a new proxy at the rate of around one per week once I get chance again.

I did originally buy the domain with the intent of a topsite, but realised it would also work well as a proxy which is why I'm asking. It would be SSL and I'd make a good attempt at SEO if I make it a proxy.

Is it worth using SSL on a topsite?

 

Is anyone here using Smowtion and how much it earns on CPM based ad on proxy sites with Iran and China traffic?

 

Which adnetwork lets you reuse adcode, and permitts proxies?

I want to place the code on the proxyfied page. Seeking fast approval, high payout. Must be differnt from Adbrite and Smowtion.

I will use it when Smowtion takes too long for approving new sites.

20-30 uv is good! (600 uv per month) it is good start for a proxy also because after if it s is good people return to it
120 uv is fantastic I think!
what about the price??? you think that it is high for the green list???
