    I have my domain registered through godaddy and hosting through hostgator, what do I have to do to sell my website?

    You have just domain name + hosting so first of all build a site with quality content..increase quality traffic,,build quality backlink of your site,,

    If you do all above things and got good result then i'm sure you won;t sell it to anyone until you'll get good offer ..lol:D

    You need to push your domain at GD to the buyer account.
    Then backup all file and database from HG hosting then email to client.

    When you say backup, what do you mean by that and as far as the hosting thing, the domain name will officially be registered under their hosting plan once they sign up and pay correct?nOnce that's done I'm done with the site?
