Wikipedia sindycated content

    I heard that Google have started banning almost all websites which has wikipedia sindycated content.

    Can anyone please tell me if they are banning any website which has sindycated that content or only those which consist of purely of wikipedia content ?

    They will ban sites that are wiki clones. Sites with just a bit of content will be fine.

    Mad4 you mean that you can sindycate a few posts but not whole wikipedia ?

    You are right!

    Google crawler is smarter now. Some times back people launched automated softwares which grab the contents from other sites and create a content rich website.

    Similarly their are many clones of wikipedia. Also many people using it's contents to enrich their site. Unfortunately it all become a thing of past.

    They will ban sites who use not only wikipedia but also other people's contents.

    In long run only original contents will have advantage..
