I am looking for a VPS or even resller hosing account which must include unlimited monthly bandwidth.
Has anyone got an account with unlimited bandwidth that truely is what it says?
    I will probably need about 1 Tb/month.

    TIA

Unmetered does exist. Unlimited does not. There is no such critter.

With unmetered you are limited by the size of the connection. The most honest VPS offer iI have seen recently had like 5 levels, the lowest of which was:

Your choice: unmetered 1mbps bandwidth OR 150gig data transfer

I asked my son to explain it to me. His answer:

Now to really be able to move the amount of data that you say you need to move you would be at their level 4 or 5 plan.

I'm using servint.com ... you can find cheaper but their support is outstanding.

While shopping around I came across few other options that are cheaper but you may have to manage yourself:

    ev1servers.net

managemybox.com - actually these guys say that they will manage it for you... $59 for a dedicated server - that's like WOW... however cPanel is extra $20/mo

    MkInfo,

Just wonder what would you use the server for?
is it for hosting or for other purposes?

If you really need about 1terabyte of bandwidth, I seriously recommend that you look at getting a dedicated server.

this sort of bandwidth costs money - just go and get a dedicated box. Should be able to get any number of servers for less than $100/mth that include 1Tb or more data.

I just went with ServInt too. The quality is so obvious from what I had, it's amazing. I just can't understand how the previous host had the servers configured that resulted in such poor performance. I have an improved performance rate of over 60%. My server barely hits .20 now. Some apps I use frequently run so much faster, it's just hard to comprehend.

With my previous host I got to compare vps and dedicated. The people setting up and managing a host make a huge difference. I really can't get over the difference.

As for bandwidth, I got nothing to add, sorry.

    Thanks for the replies all.
Managemybox seems to be the thing I'm looking for.
Has anyone got any experience of using them?
