Okay guys, I've been out of the proxy business for ages, and I'm looking to get back in. Now, I'm going to start off small again, like 1 - 3 proxies. Is Techentrance the way to go or are there any similiar hosts that are perhaps cheaper? And what about the script, is Glype still the way to go?

 

TechEntrance is still the best shared proxy hosting provider indeed O2ProxyHost is performing awesome too though, and about the script, yes Glype is still the best one up to now

 

Can anyone suggest a proxy package i can install on my linux VPS that will support BBC iPlayer?

I will be the only one using it, if that matters...

 

new proxies owner here.. what do you guys suggest for an ad network? I tried smotion (got denied) and adbrite seems fine, but I still dint install the codes.. I just have google ads on mine. I get like 4k impressions with 2-3 clicks..

 

you need a UK location for it ... and no proxy script supports it without plugins ... if you want to listen to it ... why not just tunnel thru your vps?

 

I am thinking about buying a Bold listing from Proxy.org(20$ per month)
The site owner claims that it sends average 280 unique visitors to all bold listings per day.

I want to know anybody has experience with advertising on proxy.org??

What do you think is it worth it??

 

my experience:
Its true, you get about 280uv but 90% is bad taffric and personally I dont think that this list value 20$. But I use it for know people my network. If you want list it for get more money I suggest you to try other methods

i regreted after i purchased it

i agree 90% is bad traffic.. most comes from china...

and its not worth 20 bux

u can get much more better options in other proxy lists for very cheap price.

I don't know why my sixth sense told me proxy.org will give me US traffic.
Its ok I will not try it.

I have 130 impressions on Smowtion banner ads on my proxy but there is no earnings. Anyone knows if smowtion pays for CPM or CPC with banner ads?

proxy sites are barely profitable these days..

I was going well with adversal until they reduced their CPM from 1.10 to 0.50 all of a sudden.That means you will be earnings only 1/2 of what you were making an year ago..see how funny it can get..

adversal sucks..

 

there is nothing wrong with them. think yourself as advertiser what you will get from proxy users for your products

 

I have stopped posting about you and you should probably do the same. We have proof that there has been no downtime on your vps. Also, you were a client of LeapSwitch, our vps/dedicated server brand and not lacehost.com.
Our LaceHost.com shared vps hosting has had no downtime for months now (last incident of downtime was a RAM upgrade on one of the servers)
The vps node on which your vps is hosted has had 0 downtime this year and your vps has had 0 downtime as well.

You are a fraud who just moves from host to host, hosting with each for a week and then demanding a refund over some 'downtime'. You fake your details so that the host cannot trace you or call you and you use a fake name on your PayPal account as well.

I had decided that I am not going to waste anymore time on this, but if you post more lies about us, I will keep responding to them

Even i think there is nothing wrong with Adversal... IMO they are the only decent adverts for proxy sites. They pay on time... the earning is *decent* if not poor or very high. The serving is fast and the popups arent very nasty
