Please give your comment about my business idea

I wanna making domain online store. That store selling good prospective domain, high traffic domain, rich backlink domain, PR domain and premium domain(1 word, 3 letter, 4 letter).
Buyers just click paypal button for payment or add to cart and check out the total payment. No auction but i give cheap BIN.

But i don't have an idea about domain extension.
I have 1 word domain in .us and .me
is that extension having good demand in market?

 

competing with sedo.com? where you get all the sellers?

 

sedo is not my competitor.
Just a little online shop.

i have domain stock from eBay and that many forum.
And i sell it with little profit.

as 'webmaster' have said, where did you get your seller?
it is an issue if you are setting up at your own website, as ultimately you have ask yourself

'how many people is going to see your website?'

 

This idea is as fresh expired produce. Been done a million times mate.

 

There are already sites offering lists of dropped domains and domains with backlinks people could by so why should they use your site? And how you are going to handle the domain transfer if you are no reseller or registrar

 

These gentlemen said what I was about to say. That idea has been up at least one million times before and I don't think it's going to work out for you. Sorry!

 

also if the domain is registered with godaddy, and is about to expired, you can ask godaddy to reserve it for you so you will get it before anyone else... all majors registrars will be doing this.. further cutting into domain reseller business...

I see domains dropping left and right.. must be bad for speculators too... no real business.. I just heard sex.com is on auction block again, it was sold a couple years ago and the new owner can make a go of it

 

The idea is not that new and you need to build reputation if you want buyers. So i think it will take time and if you real provide good domains with high competitive keywords in them then its sure that your website will work.

Most required domain is .com and then other follows...

 

I agree that there is no new idea here. However, if you can find a nitch and fill it - better than someone else. That is the key!

 

Great Idea.. but try some other unique idea's this is currently wide spread idea.
also think that if anyone made a search engine to beat "google". what will happen.??

 

In stead of selling domain, why not sell site? Selling domain will let you face Godaddy and other big big domain resellers with big brand name. It is very difficoult to let people trust your site as their domain register website.

My suggestion is selling website will be better than selling domain. Besides just selling domain, it will be better to sell people a website so that they do not need to build their site. You can be their consoultant when they are running their website.

 

but he would have to create all site or atleast improve them and this will be time consuming and cost quite some money to get started

 

WP and its skins are still free...
The idea of "yet another domain auction" doesn't look much promising to me. But if you can find your niche like, say, "quality certified high PR domains with moneyback guarantee", maybe it'll work out.

 

what do you thinking if i selling 1 word domain in another extension?
(.me .ws .cc .us etc)

i have that much 1 word domain stock in my inventory (not .com but another extension) hehehe

 

well I think most of them won't sell for this much money it would be worth creating an own site.

why don't you try to sell them on webmaster forums and sedo ??

you have close to no chance to make a succesfull business out of this unless you have a very large portfolio.

there are many sites offering very good monitoring tools for domains.

But i do like the idea that you don't wanna auction them away.
