    since you have a image next to the ads (even though its very small) google would most probably ask you to put a border around the ads though the placement itself doesn't violate TOS.

    OK, I got reply from google.

    "If you choose to experiment with placing images directly next to the ads,
    I'd strongly encourage you to maintain a visible border around the ad
    units to reduce the possibility of confusing users."

    Ignore it or not?

    If I should have done some thing, I would have made a very thin only half visible line from botton to top between images and categories.
