niether make much money atm

shall i invest in them?

or make a new site - or what?

There is many things that you could do, what are you good at yourself? Fill in the gaps with stuff you cannot do, then use that money for that and use your own skills to put something togeather.

I myself would work on small projects and have a few of them.

 

You should do what you like the best, If I had that $500.00 to spend, Heres the break down of what I would do,

Spend $150 in dedicated Server with Stuff I need for it.
$150 in template for site
$20 for billing script
$100 in ads on other sites
and the rest put it right into my pocket and go shopping for games

 

Well if it were me. I'd do the following.

Get about 200 .info domains from godaddy so total cost would be around $250
Use free proxy hosting.
Use services from DP and blast the proxies via groups and earn cash.

 

Yes, then try to sell those .info's for ridiculous amounts of corn over here on DP..

I'd pay for some quality backlinking services to get up in the rankings, for one. Whatever you do, focus on promotion.

ehh well first off I would turn manly stuff into a dropshipping related e-commerce site to properly monitize it and provide something useful. That is a very good, brandable domain name.

Google sees .info domains as spammer sites. I would buy 10 .com .net or .org domians (keyword product targeted), outsource 1 article long article per domian, add the appropriate affiliate offer, and add a few blocks of Google adsense to each site.

then go out and a few back links

10 domians = $120
10 quality articles = $100
unlimited domain hosting account = $16 per month

that's about $250 right there.

You can also become a reseller with a fixed annual price you can sell every domains and hosting plan you want, and the price will be always the same!
Hehehe you paid one time fixed cost means no risk for you and you can start only promoting your service and start to make money with your turnkey site.
You don't have to spend money for customer support resources and it is a big deal in my opinion.

 

Find products to sell on your sites and then invest on targeted promotion

 

Save the 500$ and work harder on what you have already got, not sure how old they are but it takes time to build up the earnings, or if you really want to do another then do another and work on 3, 10-20£/$ and a bit of work, save the rest of cash for rainy day and build up on it.

If problem is a steady cash flow I don't see the point to spend the money just because, what does he need the billing script for?

And why he shoudl spend $150 in a template when there are free professional ones to start with?

I would go with buying cheap domains, but not with free proxy hosting or you will soon find your sites down. It's much better make of each domain a mini-websie or landing page with sponsored advertising and random content delivered in auto-pilot.

You need 4x that though.

 

I would recommend you to make micro niche websites, put some affiliate product reviews and banners and promote them with SEO. This model works good for me and is good money maker.
