How to get Consistent Traffic from Social Networking Sites?

I want to know how to get consistent traffic from Social networking sites?

Try a site like stumbleupon which can provide a steady stream of traffic rather then a site like Digg or twitter which only provide a burst of traffic for a short period of time based on how active you are.

 

i would prefer facebook fan page
btw, how is it stumbleupon provide a more steady stream of traffic than others?? Mind explain?

 

Be active on those networks and provide value and the traffic will follow. Social networking is all about relationships.

 

Value is not often followed, it is more important to get a few diggs or whatever from friends, then traffic will come

 

Submit your stories regularly to social networks because fresh content matters for them.

Participate in discussion in Facebook and post interesting information. Once people know that you have knowledge about subject, they will definitely visit your site.

If you own an orkut community then definitly you may achieve a regular traffic target per day very easily

I am really able to get good traffic by joining the social networking sites like twitter and facebook..Social Media entered into the space and Every business and every person should have a presence on the social media landscape..

 

I agree with ethan. Although I am not a social media professional, the company I work for is working on developing strategies to get into this media. These days it seems like it would be very difficult to compete without some sort of social media presence.

 

How does Stumble Upon generate traffic to your website?? What do you need to do after submitting your site too stumble upon to get the traffic flowing?
