need business idea

hi there, i own a domain name studentlife.co.in currently i am running this as sms and video posting blog .but i want to know what are the possibilities with this domain name and what can i do with this domain

 

it is really amazing no one is here not having a good idea or i posted in wrong area. If yes den it is requested to move my post at proper place

 

Sounds like you could do a lot with it...use xml feeds from job classified sites, online textbook stores, all kinds of things that students need. Ad discussion forum, advertising....what are you waiting for?

you can add more information,then it will become more popularity.

 

You should provide more services like letting people create blog, and other social networking features. Make it look like portal for students. But you do need a team to run such kind of portal. Running it alone may look ok at starting but things will get ugly with popularity.

 

how about a student network? something like a forum but not just a forum

 

How about making it a site where students could purchase a product for dorm life or academic life. You could probably find a good distributor to supply you with a quality product.

 

You could start a community? They bring in quite good revenue, plus its very enjoying having a community!

You could make it a wordpress mu site and then share ad revenue with students.

 

There are a lot of forums on the internet, so make sure the forum you are making is unique and you will have to put a lot of work before you can get it to a good point. Good Luck!

Studentlife, hmm.. Perhaps one idea could be to offer a "where to go in the evening"- type of site. Catergorized geographically, by campus, by type of event, ... and syndicated with ticket sale businesses etc.
Anyway, your business plan should be unique in order to avoid massive marketing budget.

 

Which kind of business you are interested in? Are you interested in home based business? Why not trying something like typing or transcribing? With a little investment, you can start that from home.

 

The problem you have here is that most 'students' want stuff for nothing (free/torrent), so they are unlikely to pay for any services etc. The best way to monetize is through ads and maybe cpa offers of some kind.

 

you can do many work with this domain such as : selling products , making a community and so on . you should make decision yourself if we say to you perhaps haven't be pleased for doing that work .

 

This domain name has potential, you can make it into education, lifestyle or student loan niche

 

I would suggest you setup forum for your school.
Or if you have budget,setup social network site for your school.
