Thanks for the heads up guys. I find Blog commenting and Social bookmarking the two most effective techniques for backlinks. Make sure it's a do follow blogs with high PR otherwise, everything is non-sense and just a waste of time

 

How about classified directories such as Backpage?

 

what about if i submit url to paying site only 8 to 10 not more which have good pr , is it enough

 

To get backlinks use digg... and make content for article directories... Don't go for twitter... most of them wasting time to get backlink from twitter.

Twitter is not equal to Backlinks.

 

Depends on the kind of site though as ecommerce sites are not neccessarily going to generate links from thier visitors (unless they unbelievably cheap).

But more importantly why would you post a question on the best place to get links in "social networks" as oppossed to Link Development which is right below it. This kind of thinking suggest that it won't matter what answer is provided such as well reasoned answers by Jeremy Morgan because you will ignore it or implement it incorrectly.

If its the case of me being too harsh and simply a simple error on your part, my experience is that blog comments done correctly are the most successful form of link building. The main reason being that the pages with your links (blog post) are viewed by search engines as being of much higher quality. Fairly logical though because article directories and social bookmarking have such insane amount of content (majority being junk) and the ability for user created content which IMO is not viewed as highly as say a personal blog or website.

That being said I think a setup that utilises all sources of links will yield the best results whilst mixing up the tedious task of link building making a litle less tedious.

 

The above said all three method are Good and free way to get back link don't depend on single type of link building always keep in mind link is game for quantity with quality so each back link is better and all the said method are Good also add Article Submission

 

You forget to mention forum discussion. It's best to have a mixture. No point having all the links from Ezinearticles. It's not natural.

Also, you can post link in your profile and once ask other member to become friend. They will see your profile and link on your profile, most of the time 85% who got received request to become friend they will visit your link.
