txtNation are scammers - Do not use them.

You are correct in saying they do NOT provide merchant accounts, they do not even have a relationship with any bank. They do not even have a merchant account themselves! they used to be with RBS/Worldpay but had their account suspended due to excessive chargebacks (almost 20% of all transactions).

They now use PayPal, Moneybookers and various other payment processors to accept end user payments including for adult content which is against PayPal policy.

txtNation is just a deceptive reseller, they offer nothing innovative and nothing cheap, even their SMS billing services are dodgy at best. You are better off going direct to their own provider, www.mxtelecom.co.uk.

You should also have reservations about their management, Mike and Jon, the term rogue traders spring to mind, they will tell customers whatever is required to get them to sign up, even complete lies.

Oh and finally, they like to tell clients they are huge and have offices in a bunch of countries as you can see on txtnation.com with a range of addresses across the world. They are actually a 1 room open planned office in Plymouth inside a run down industrial estate with around a dozen people working in the office. No other physical presences whatsoever, those addresses are merely mail forwarders.

To sum txtNation up, they lie and offer nothing innovative.

Oh and if you expect them to actually pay your revenue out to you, you will be lucky, I have seen about 20 clients they have refused to payout for one reason or another. Usually minor contract violations, they actively look for reasons not to pay their client funds out to boost their own profits.

    I hope this helps.

    Txtnation scam scheme:
    - You contact them, they will call you frequently with a lot of offers and describing their "best services"
    - You sing a contract (in that contract there is fun text: infromation located on some page of txtnation.com website is a part of this contract. So only god knows what they can put on that page, even that you owe them $5,000,000) As well "perfect" payout temrs: you will get your money in 6(!) months. But(!) this may take much longer because of some mystic reasons. Thats you can work 100 years without money and txtnation will say you: Read contract and pay us monthly fee!
    - You start paying monthly fee
    - After that you see that these services are absolute sht and want to cancel it immediately. Ah! But you can`t! You have to pay 1 year fee in order to cancel it!
Finally you understand that scammers got your money and thats all!

    Mods please delete this thread

I have made an early judgmenet which was a result of a misunderstanding in communication, and as a matter of fact I have a positive experience after working with them for over a year now.

    Thanks.

I have been doing business with TxT Nation for the last 2 years and have found them to be nothing but professional.

It pisses me off when you get non-professionals tearing a chunk out of a good company simply because they don't match up.

Opperate professionally and get treated professionally is always my moto.

By working with them the last 2 years and them always being professional to you... did you mean to say you work for them? lol

arrgh the silly forums. Oh joy to all business with forums!
Isn't it funny the way there is actually only one negative post on here the rest are either positive or fueling flames.
I smell someone here who's annoyed with them personally possibly a competitor and not from a business perspective! Paul

Make that two complaints. I have just discovered they have taken £4.50 a week from my Vodafone bill for about six weeks. I haven't a clue what they do. One thing for certain is I did not ask for a 'service'.

Funny they are claiming a £1 million+ turnover, but only use an answering service. Also, only registered the limited company in 2011

Another negative you'll find. I have never heard of this company let alone agreed a subscription yet they have charged me through my phone operator a fee. It was my operator who told me who the company was and cancelled it immediately whilst crediting my account back with the taken payment. When I had instant chat with tn the agent refused to answer any questions regarding date subscription taken & who by. He said I would get an email or call by agent within 2 days. He then terminated chat.Strangely no email (as I have never supplied 1), & no call as my number never given.
