Orkut - how to make money with it?

Hello Everybody,

I am trying to start using social medias to make MONEY.


I am brazilian, so .. here the biggest social media is: ORKUT.

Almost every one has an orkut account.


I try to search in the forum about: HOW TO CREATE A BIG COMMUNITY AND HOW TO MAKE MONEY WITH IT.

We already have an website (e-commerce): :: Companhia da Nutrição - Suplementos Alimentares, notebooks, ipod, mp3, mp4, livros, perfumes, informática ::

We sell a lot of things.


If I am not wrong... Orkut do not allow the use of it to make a Company sales.


For this I don't know how effective can be this idea to create an Orkut community if we can not make more sales.


Does anybody has experience with Orkut?

Is there a good strategy to get more people inside your community?


I thought to raffle something like: t-shirts, mp3 and things like that between members who bring more people to that community.



Maybe this is not effective.



Remember: why Orkut? Because in Brazil it is the biggest social media network.

Yeah the raffle idea seems nice, you can try it out.

Also, as I do not use Orkut, but you may want to check if it has some build in advertising options. Perhaps it has adsense ads, meaning you could advertise on Orkut via Google Adwords.

Also try searching for some software that may help you automatize the building and maintenance of the relationship between you and your potential clients.

 

You can make money with Orkut easily just like other Social Networks but it is counted as Blackhat and you can lose your account because of doing that.

 

How this work?

 

I've experienced that Orkut's communities are rather much bigger and more active, so, Posting new discussions would surely help you

 

You say.. posting new discussions in OTHERS COMMUNITIES, right?

Because our community has no members, yet.

 

Raffle contest , gving freevies , always attract good visitors , let it be ur orkut comm or fb fan page

 

I have started in last 3 hours.. we have already 25 members. I think in 2 days we will arrive 200 members. After that.. let's see what we can do.

I email a lot of friends and add them. The problem is to get NO FRIENDS. eheheh

 

Yeah with orkut I wouldn't use cpalead or anything because where the users are from you won't get paid much for each survey

 

Can I make money on Orkut?

Yes, You could spark off debates and controversial threads in their groups, and you would a lot of traffic and replies for sure... I've tried this for my blog, and I got people fighting with each other, and a lot of replies as well !

Never really tried marketing through Orkut. Their privacy settings are even harsher than Facebook's, so it's hard to build up a brand on the network

 

I think orkut is only for fun, not good for business. Use other social networking sites, like facebook, twitter , myspace etc.

 

Yeah, your right...it's only for entertainment not for business...
