    Ok guys,
I have a question. What would you do if you were having an idea that could very possible make 2 to 30 million dolars a month because:

It would be a totally new idea, or at least a very good twist of an old idea.
You would have idea on how to get the traffic you need for that kind of money

    But:

You wouldn't have the prograaming skills to make the site that you need which would have to have some options that need a good knowledge of programing and web security and couldn't trust a freelancer with this as he may see what a good idea this is and steal it.

You would not have the money to make the traffic that you want how you want.

How would you make this possible...what would you do?

And don't say: Kick myself in the head cause I'm already doing that!

Well you'd have to go with a freelancer, or someone from a community like this - or someone you know that has those skills. You can't sit back with an idea you want to develop, can't develop it yourself, and let no-one else know about it.

I'm sure that there are many trustworthy people around here that would be happy to work with you on a project if it has up to $30,000,000 potential per year.

You simply hire a group of professional web designers/programmers, explain what you want and your job will be done.

    Since you in this case.
I would suggest you to partner with the programmer.
So that he will buy some stake in your project, and both of you promote the new site.
By doing it,you will not worried about your website idea get steal by the programmer.

One idea might be to outsource different parts of the website to different programmers so no single programmer knows the whole story. Based on your plan, this might or might not be feasible.

Also, realize that most of a websites success comes from the marketing and strategy behind the business. Programmers may or may not have a mind for marketing and strategy. If you outsource to another country and outsource to those with strict interest in programming, you should be ok.

Finally, I'm sure that many of us BELIEVE we have million dollar ideas :). It's all in the marketing, strategy, and implementation.

Best of luck. Let us know when you are a billionaire.

Go to the bank --> get a loan --> hire a company to do the programming stuff --> go through with the idea

Or, you could slack around DP and wait for someone to give you the $50 you need and promise them 25% of the profits once you get your idea going.

Sorry I'm being so harsh, but if you REALLY had a $30m idea you wouldn't be here asking for advice.

I highly doubt that you have such a valuable idea. Ignorance or daydreaming can lead to overestimation (Or underestimation) of an idea's potential.

Anyways, ideas don't have any value by themselves. Only if they are executed properly are they worth anything. An idea is just the beginning of a task. You don't get paid for beginning a task, only for completing it.

I am sorry to say that, but I don't think you have a 30 M business idea. If so, how can you estimate its value?

I'd then do what every logical person would do I'd create a solid business plan and book an appointment with my bank manager.
