its a lot harder to make money at this than it was a few years ago. look at the loads of sites that dont sell on the main website selling sites. listing fees for unsucessful auctions can all add up.

 

Website Flipping still works and it's something I want to do full time once I raise listing, hosting and domain cash. I have a friend who has been making good money flipping websites. He makes at least $3,000 - $4,000 monthly selling sites on flippa. I have learnt his strategies and look forward to implementing them as soon as I am ready. It's a business that still works. But like every other internet biz, you need knowledge to be able to do it successfully. And one more thing, there are sites that are always in great demand...dont just build a site and expect to make money once you list them for sale. A lot of research is involved.

 

Yup I am just getting into website flipping(specifically blog flipping). I have just created my first blog, got it up to first page in google, and now I'm ready to flip soon. You can still make some decent cash off flipping, but it does take a while to set up the website etc.

Website flipping makes you very limit money to start with as there are all the domain transfer periods to contend with, its not as simple as buying a site one day and selling the next! Saying that if you build up a portfolio of roughly 50-100 sites you can make good money flipping sites regularly

Flipping is something i know of but have not yet actually started although i have sold a few domains with really basic layouts for mid hundreds but 1,000's is where its at.

 

Flipping is still possible with quality content.

 

Flipping websites can be tough but it only takes one good idea and some hard work improving traffic.

 

You need to develop the site, get some decent traffic, have some earnings ...wait at least 3 or 4 month before you sell the site.
Starter websites are no longer working and it's difficult to sell them (especially on flippa).

 

Website flipping is a good business but you need to do lots of research. First you need to make up a good website which is too good and then you have to sell it. It is something like you need to have good practice of it.
