My Website Is Slow!! Why?!?

Hey guys,

I just started working on a new oscommerce website and I purchased a template for it, and it is running very very slow!!

Any idea what would cause this??

Please let me know it is bothering me alot.

 

its loading bit slow in my server too.

Did other template were loading fast?

The most obvious problem is the size of the page. It weighs in at over 20kb+ with all the images and HTML. I'd do a bit of non-seo optimization and it should clear up the problem. Optimizing the images is a good place to start .

 

Try changing ur hosting server.

 

Loaded at a fine speed for me.

The problem of such a slow speed is your site page contain large file or full of code/script which prevent your site from loading fast

 

Its take me 20second to load your site.
It remind me of those day i using namecheap hosting,it took 10 second to load my wordress.

 

possibility of internet connection you are using problematic.
I have also been too slow.

 

It loads normal for me. Anyway, you should pay attention to your hosting company and images size on your site.

 

- Try in different browsers
- Check your server speed using speed test tools
- Go for a dedicated hosting

 

you might want to run that site on your LOCALHOST and compare if its working slow there, which will help you identify if its the template or the servers.

yes i aslo agree that if it is not server issue with your host and this you know about from your host company then it is about website coding and scripting ... page size is not that issue for speed nowadays.. check with your host for the exact reason they will help you more!

 

Type speed test into google use that and post your results. Then we can see how good your internet connection is.

 

I´ve tried it now to load the site several time. (Of course i deleted cache and cookies)
Sometimes your site loads fast (normal), but sometimes it lags a little bit. So it looked for me like a hoster/server issue.
The page size is OK, that shouldn´t be the problem.
