Digg Fatal Error?

Can't log in to Digg. Are you also experiencing fatal error?

 

No it probably means you're account got banned. Try going to "digg.com/users/YOURUSERNAME" and if you get 404 or "this user was deleted" message.. well, sorry dude.

 

If your account was deleted, were your bookmarked sites deleted too?

 

Everytime the fatal error thing comes up in DIGG, it is AKA "Your acc is banned!"
From my experience, yes they all get banned along with the account. Sorry for the bad news dude.

 

I typed digg.com/users/myusername and I could still see all my bookmarked sites there. If my account was removed, all the bookmarked sites should have been removed too?

 

eventually it will be. give it a few days.

 

Okay I will wait for a week, but if the error continues I will forget my account and get a new membership.

 

Do not break the digg rules, you will always got banned when you do...

 

This happen when Digg feels some kind of spamming from your IP. Multiple digg users from the same ip could be a reason of same.

 

Thank you, Manish. I was thinking it was all a browser problem. I never spam digg. There was some kind of error here. Anyway, I want to leave Digg forever. Or maybe create my own-Digg like site.

 

Sometimes it's the connection. I think Digg has it's own filter. I used to experience that too with my account yet I can log-in successfully from other computer.
Maybe you should try using other computer to check it out.

I think there is some issue with the digg. The website takes a lot of time to download sometimes. And there are login issues as well..even though your user id is not deleted. These guys need to resolve the issue.

 

Yes, I have observed if you submit more than 5 at a time. They consider this as a spamming activity. Too bad

 

I face the same problem when the internet connection speed is too low

 

i am giving up on digg. i tried to log in early dawn when internet connection is relatively faster than during the normal hours, still i couldn't get in. goodbye digg.

 

Yes you are banned. You can always open a new account after few days. Just change your username and other details and create an account.

 

it means your ip has been banned i also had a fatal error.

 

so if i changed my IP address I would be able to log in again?
