Do you all book mark each page on of your website on each bookmarking service? TIA!

yes, but this takes organization, patience, time, and most likely multiple accounts to avoid looking like a self-promoter. You can bookmark just about every website, even the ones linking to you, which gets into the subject of link wheels.

 

Not really. Over time I plan to, but I'm trying to save my main pages until I get a large enough following (especially on Digg) to actually get some real uptake from it.

 

But should we submit all this information with in the same account or should we create a new account for each website?

It's called deep linking and yes I do. It pisses a lot of people off but it works. I wouldn't do it all at the same time, but spread it out over a period of time.

 

If you have a large site, who has the time to submit all of those pages? My forum has over 100,000 threads - exactly "how" am I supposed to submit over 100,000 URLs to dozens of social bookmarking sites?

And on top of that, I have heard of sites like digg banning people if you submit more then 20 urls to a single site in one day.

If you have a small site with only a few pages, sure, you could submit all of them.

If you have a medium - large site with over 10,000 URLs, submit some of your popular pages and dont worry about the rest.

 

What happens if you submit only a link to your mainpage? Is that bad for your rank?

 

yeah, you should spread PR around to inner pages as well. It can look suspect if only building up the main page.
