Start a paid posting service?

Recently there have been HUGE success and income with paid posting services. I have recently been debating to start one of my own for some extra income. One problem is I dont have the funds atm to set up a site. So if someone is interested I will let them earn all adsense revenue and a cut of the revenue from work done every month if the can help me out and maybe "sponser" this project. Im talking $25 - $50.

But one question to the community is do you all think it would be a good idea to start one with all the competition out there?

Personally I think I have the marketing skills etc. to get the bussiness I need and get things up and running smooth and maybe become competition for very well known posting services.

    What you all think ?

Also anyone who can help me please send me a PM.

There's not a lot of money in it. I constantly higher forum posters for about $0.20 a post. If they're decent I give them a bonus which usually means comes out to about $0.30 a post which is more than most admins will pay for posts. That would mean that 100 post at the high price range would equal $30.00. However, unless you're posting worthless one liners like "I totally agree with that" etc, you'll find that 100 decent posts will take you quite a bit of time. Lets give you the benefit of the doubt and say it takes 1 minute per post, that's 1.66 hours:

    Normal: $0.15 x 100 posts = $15.00 / 1.66 hours = $9.03 an hour
    Good: $0.20 x 100 posts = $20.00 / 1.66 hours = $12.05 an hour
    Very good: $0.30 x 100 posts = $30.00 / 1.66 hours = $18.07 an hour

Now let's look at a more realistic scenario. Most of the people I've hired have taken a long time to reach 100 posts. Let's say they come around 1 hour a day and average 20 posts.

    Normal: $0.15 x 100 posts = $15.00 / 5 hours = $3.00 an hour
    Good: $0.20 x 100 posts = $20.00 / 5 hours = $4.00 an hour
    Very good: $0.30 x 100 posts = $30.00 / 5 hours = $6.00 an hour

This is way more realistic from my prospective. Unless you are knowledgeable about the subject matter of the forum you're going to post in, you'll probably not be able to post very quickly. So the profit is there... you can make some good money, but you'd have to be quick witted, dedicated, and focused on meeting your deadlines in order to make it worth your time. Add to that the overhead of advertising and competing with other services.

Anyway, that's my two cents on the subject. I've been thinking about the same thing for awhile... I just don't think I'd want to stick with it.

I totally agree with everything you said. If I do start a paid posting service I will hire posters that know about different subjects. I will also be very dedicated.
