I know stumble upon is a great site to drive a good number of traffic. I searched the net, but found no 'good' and effecting suggestion on how to do better with stumble upon.

Anyone got any idea?? Please let me know.

Stumble upon is a better source only, but we want to use it effectively. There are differences between the page views it shows and the analytics traffic sources. However, it is a better source for traffic compared to others.

Essentially it's great for entertainment site since people there are generally doing it when their bored. I guess it goes back to the original offering value and something interesting for the user to get people to like it as the more people who like your site the more it should be displayed.

I've tried this and gotten about 50 people to like my site with all real people, their own accounts, and ips. It was pretty good but nothing fantastic. I personally prefer their ads system.

    Best advice yet...

Thumbing up your own pages can get you banned, so do that sparingly! And by sparingly, I mean only your VERY best content, not just your newest content. As ElitePrime said, people are there because they are bored, many ONLY use it to find something fun or interesting... no one really cares about the in-between.

If your page is 'boring' by most standards, you'll have better luck with DIGG or other social sites...

I like the concept of stumbleupon. Submit your site there and give a good review to people. Expand your presence. Stumble Upon Ads are also VERY interesting...you can advertise there for only 5 cents/click!

You simply can not be serious? Bots == Banned as it'll be obvious that it's the same account promoting the same page over & over & over & over...
