The Proxy Discussion Thread

Smowtion used to be good until beginning of 2010; I made up to 200$ a month with them from proxies.
Than they went crazy, stopped serving ads to my top proxies (only to the top ones, yes), put sarcastic comments in tickets, and eventually began closing tickets with no response at all.

What you experience is common Smowtion procedure now.

 

I've got that mail before from adsense.

I'd suggest you remove adsense from the proxy sites before your 3 days are up.
Then a) block bad countries, and b) enable hotlinking.

 

What kind of plugins is everybody using nowadays? Do facebook or myspace plugins still work? I want to get more out of my proxified pages.

 

I used to get a $71 click two years ago, and several clicks around $10~$30, but this year i only got a max $8 click.
I didn't block any traffic due to adsense also give me good revenue for china/russia/iran traffic.

I am using smowtion and adbrite but they only give very few revenue. Any other good ones?

 

That sounds kind of ridiculous and unprofessional of them. :\

 

Wow..$71 click..now you barely make that much a month on adsense with a decent proxy.
Can I see one of your proxies? I'm currently trying something new on one of my proxies and it does seem to be giving better results so far..

Try proxville, they have some new themes come out over the last month or so.

 

I got the "3 working days" message as well. I emailed them and explained the situation and they told me I was ok, and that i had received the message in error.

Good for you! In my case when I emailed them they replied that they did not want ads on my proxy...lol. So I gladly removed them. Quite strange, because I had no ads whatsoever on the proxified pages.

100-200 hits guaranteed per proxy

 

FreeProxySite.com is pretty good, it gets a decent amount of traffic (1000+UV per day) and hardly anyone submits their proxies on it anymore

 

they don't approve proxy, i submitted many, never approved

so i never submit to that site
