I'm sorry, but I would have to agree with everybody else, the past 4-6 months don't mean anything besides the fact that you acted the way you should have, you never went "above and beyond the call of duty", so why should everybody treat you like you are a saint? The only statement I resent in here is the statement that he is 15. I was 15 at one time, and I always tried my hardest with any freelancing job/contest, and I was rewarded for such.

I'd hate to break it to you, but all C's, one A, and one D, is not what I would call intelligence, maybe laziness? I am a dedicated worker, I hold A/B's in all of my classes, and an occasional C, working anywhere from 1-3 different part time jobs, recreational sports, and online jobs/duties.

Not that it means much to you, but you will never get my praise, and I'd bet a lot of members here would agree with me.

Try to build some reputation, and you might change some peoples minds though.

I am not asking you to worship. I am asking to just trust me in a small sale business situation.

If anyone has done business with me in the last 2 months, they will know how much i have changed.

The problem is that i was dyslexic in Primary School, so really i have done 5 years of work in 3 years. Ask anyone who really knows me offline, and you will see i am very nice person. I am not a yob, i dont smoke, drink or take drugs. I go to a party every 2 weeks to socialize with my friends. I spend most of the time on my laptop.

Robet the issue is not your age, Im pretty sure anyone here would think the same of a scammer if they were 15 or 50, its the issue of the scamming thats the problem, stuff like that doesnt go away easily, though dont get disheartened if you truelly have learned your lesson and are not scamming anymore you will slowly lose the scammer rep, but it will take work.

Nothing in here tells me you paid people back. All I get from this is that you were angry you couldn't do business "for 4 [whole] months."

Ditto. I'm not 18 - I'm self employed and without paypal I'd find it very difficult to make as much money as I do. 15 year-olds with paypal accounts are not scammers JUST because they're 15 year-olds with paypal accounts. I don't know you; but I beg you to reconsider your statement, otherwise Robert won't be the only one losing reputation from this thread.

I agree. Robert, you should have never have scammed any people. As northpointaiki said, if you havn't already apologised to these people then I suggest you do so now (if you are well & truly sorry).

However, I'm sure all of you older members on this board all did something you regretted, perhaps even illegal (even petty crime!) when you were young that you regretted soon after (albeit not on the internet). Give Robert a break. Let him build his reputation again.

A lot of people from our generation do break the law, and I'm sure a lot more than previous generations. I'm not surprised so many people come to that conclusion. I myself would like to have a little more respect - but what do you expect with twerps our age 'round every corner.

I disagree with fryman. People change with time & circumstances, and experiences. Realization & guilt can induce morality very effectively.

Everybody has some dirty laundry, as long as he's honest in his dealings now & henceforth I think it's unfair to put him down. I agree that the right thing for him to do is to compensate those who were affected.

As far as age goes. If you're under 18 and have a paypal account then you're breaking the ToS. If you don't see anything wrong with that, then it just proves what people have been saying here.

Paypal really has to start doing some age verification.

I think it's commendable that Rob has been completely honest about the situtation, rather then try to lie or defend his actions. He admitted that he was wrong, it was stupid and that he has since learned his lesson and changed for the better. So, let's move on and let him prove himself with his current actions, rather then his past. :)
