I'm getting a booth at a trade show (Ad:Tech). Do booth babes really work to attract attention?

You'd be surprised, only a fraction of the exhibitors have booth babes. Those that do get lots of photos.

These people like sex and money, so to attact them you're going to need to use either all or both. Start a rev comp for new affiliates I don't mean ipad and stuff I mean why would I need 20 ipads everybody gives away the same old crap. Give away something like a Audi R8, Lamborghini Gallardo or a Ferrari F430.

Really depends on the exhibition and what you are promoting...

Does the "babe" image fit with your company image? Fast cars/ bikes etc do, very well. A corporate bank it wouldn't.

I agree we're in this industry to make money people are motivated by money, affiliates and merchants just want to make lots of money it's that simple. They're not in this industry to do anything else, like investment bankers we're all here to make fat bank and that's it.

That's why affiliate marketing has been given the bling bling image. It's just a bunch of people who just wanna make a shit ton of money and that's it.

I think it works for some companies. One negative that I am familiar with is that it can deter serious potential clients if your booth is packed full of people that simply want to take a picture with your booth babes. They may simply want to avoid the crowd.

yes I think booth babes work to an extent...look at F1 girls, auto show gals.
Having said that, a lot depends on quality of the babes. If they are real babes like quality of Angelina Jolie, Cheryl Cole, Megan Fox, Eva Longoria then you can be assured of lots of attention.
NOT non-babes and turn offs like Rihanna, Miley Cyrus :)

It would really depend on what you were selling thought, hot babes can't sell everything you know.

Good content and customer relations will always work better than booth babes.

Booth Babes draw in a lot of people and generate a lot of buzz/brand awareness. Good content/sales people will sell your product/service in the end. But yes, they can work depending on your vertical market. In the outdoor/hunting segment... yes. Tech... probably not.
