Can online games help sell childrens products?

Discussion in 'General Business' started by Dave.F, Sep 8, 2010.

    Hi,

I am thinking of paying a programmer to developed an online flash game to help promote my new range of childrens swimming products.

I noticed that most online flash games have counters and are played 1,000's of times a month......

If I had a game designed that promoted my childrens (6 to 12yrs) swimming products could that help with my online sales?

    Thanks
    Dave.

I would say yes... but it would have to be a very good game, and would have to direct some attention to your products. Might be worth the investment, but it's risky. Again, it has to be a very good game...

Yes, It will boost your children product sales. But remember the games should have your products visibility.

Yes it can definitely help as small children are eager to play new games always. You can also try asking some people with these sites already to help you boost your sales.

dave dave dave. As a creativity, you may try making a swimming race game in which children can select goggles of their own choice with flappers if included in game and swimming costume.

    Hows that idea?

yes, it will be good for your product. But the game should be relevant to your product, or make your product visible in the game.

it will be very difficult to sell products because even if the children play the game they are not going to buy the product. They don't have access to credit cards. Very difficult for them to pursue their parents to buy any product.

    Any other / better ideas?

yeah of course! its true that they don't have access to product but I'm sure it would help selling anything product if they truly enjoy the site and it reputation.

Well if your trying to market An actual Product - like diving tools - swiming tools or any of these - adding games to your website would be a waste of your money.
Instead - waste that money to make the website - and products more attractive - while the main focus on the products - also invest the money to get better google ranking - try to work with google tools to see whats your breaking points for bouncing rates . but adding games wont be a good idea it maybe would bering you several hundrats more visitors but these visitors arent potential clients.

Y that is a beautiful idea but what you in the starting you allow children to choose the goggles color, type of flappers then start the game with what you said. What you say
