Even though competition is tough, I'll try and see for myself :) Just started with a top site and 1 proxy for now.

Apart from what he said, you're going to probably notice that the keywords you're targeting (the keywords in your title, h1) won't get any SERPs; this is because of the way you optimized the website.

Your domain name is hidden-surf.info, which helps with keyword rankings if it has to do with "hidden" or "surf". But, your website seems to have the words "proxy" and "free" as your keywords - which renders your domain name useless for search rankings.

I just wanna warn those of you that are new to the proxy business... Be very careful with cheap proxy hosting. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is. I have fallen for this several times over the years... Pay $20 a month for hosting, spend a lot of time optimizing and building up my sites, start to see some good traffic/adsense earnings, and then BAM! Downtime. Host is nowhere to be found... Won't answer emails, or they just dick you around. Just be aware of this, as it happens a lot. The last time it happened to me was ridiculous, so much so that I spent some time putting together a blog post about.

What sites are people getting good proxy traffic from these days? I'm willing to add a link to my proxies in order to be added to a proxy list if it will send some half decent traffic my way. Anyone have any info on good ones at the moment?

I could provide a "proxy top sites submission" service. I got a list of 500+ top sites but I have screened and selected the best 50 sites which have best traffic to submit to. it will cost for 2$ per proxy to be submitted to 50 top sites. if many people interested, I would create a thread offer this service.

you can send PM to me that you are interested. DONT post in this thread. (or else you might get infraction)

After letting it rot for months , i have reshuffled theme and blocked co.cc and .tk domain on one of my Proxy List sites . Though the traffic is 300-400 Views per day it will improve to its glory in some time . Dont forget to submit your proxies too YOUCANHIDE .COM

It is strange that they suspended your domain as well. If the violation lies on the hosting alone, they should never suspend your domain as they are 2 separate entities unless you used a fake whois did you? Try calling them and see what was the violation you made for your domain name.

I agree. I understand that they suspend hosting, but the domain belongs to the buyer.
199$ is clearly a rip off, and I am not sure if their position would hold if challenged in court.

BTW: Godaddy is for sale - Are they so desperate in need of money that they ban to raise 199$ per domain which violated hosting TOS?

Apparently, Godaddy's spam and abuse department (which suspended my domain) is outsourced according to some articles I read, and couldn't care less about your domains because they get paid from ripping you off.
Spam and abuse department never responded to my questions about the incident, either.

It feels like Godaddy has turned into a huge evil corporate monster. Like the kind of corporations who live solely for profit because of their Capitalist views.

Haha vahing, I sure wouldn't buy Godaddy if I had $1 billion. :D

    PS. Google "$199 Godaddy"

I'm planning to transfer all my hosted domains on godaddy to namecheap.com since they provide free whois privacy (only 1st year though, though compared to godaddy it's still cheaper).

back on proxy topic, is it allowed to put google search box in proxified page?
