Looking for tutorials for Photoshop

I need a good tutorial for a design I'm creating. I am thinking along the lines of a logo coming out of water, so I need a good tutorial for reflections and rippling effects. Anybody know of a good source?

 

Do you have any image of examples of a rough idea that you are after?

You use your mouse and a keyboard if possible . When stuck bang head against the keyboard .

 

If you want for a good tutorial please try youtube, and from there search photoshop tutorial.

i think first move to home page(lynda.com) and find the one you want to learn(they have it for all version from beginning to latest version)....Then move to torrent or filesharing site link for downloading....

My advice:
practice makes perfection........1000's of tutorials are available in internet...but your interest, practice makes you great...think about it..

Tutvid.com has some great tutorials...even for beginners.

I followeed the video tutorial from Lynda.com. The content is split up into several chapters, and dealt from the basics.
you can try downloading that.

 

IMO, if you want to get the best out of the effect you wanted to create, the best is to google your desire with specific keywords. Lynda.com is good for those beginner to start from scratch, but it might not meet your demand as the source isn't wide.

Google it and you will have multiple methods to follow from difference sources all over the world.

 

You should try http://psd.tutsplus.com/ it is an awesome site for tutorials and freebies

 

You can try the various video tutorials you can find on googling .. useful stuff ..
