See samples here. I do banners using Photoshop version 6.0 which is excellent and still a very usable valid software!

What`s your main focus in the logo? It looks like the word "INK" is the main focus because the font is the largest and the most contrast. I think you want the word "Cartoon Catalog" is the most focus. Try to make the font of "Cartoon Catalog" is the largest and make them the most contrast. Overall that is a good logo.

Thanks. Cartoon logos are always relevant. That's why I decided to go into it. Still trying to incorporate various techniques within Photoshop tools to make them look more professional. Alot of businesses like cartoons and / or something light-hearted....depending on their focus. As long as it catches people's attention

Hey man, I love the cartoons. What tools do you use for the black/white cartoons?

Piggy: For my black & white line art, I usually use a Rapidogrpah pen. Normally I pencil the cartoon in rough sketch format, then go over it in Rapidograph....clean up the lines with eraser and scan into Photoshop from there, for coloring and sizing etc. Or sometimes I use a Sharpie finepoint marker, and use the same technique. Glad that you like the samples. I appreciate the feedback. I have been drawing professionally for over 30 years....most of my life, otherwise. I just keep doing it....more of my samples are at http://www.danscartoons.com and keep on drawing!
