Which bookmarking sites have actually sent you traffic?


I've had some resonable hits from stumble upon and need advice on how to use bookmarking to promote a fitness challenges website.

Hi! Facebook brings the majority of traffic to my website.

 

Twitter is the easiest way. I am using it for instant traffic.

 

stumbleupon and reddit are both great in driving traffic.

Well, i would like to say that you can only bookmark you page once either the home page or any of the internal page in these social bookmarking websites. If you want to get more traffic do also integrate the other social bookmarking websites so as to drive more traffic.

 

Facebook and LinkedIn groups

 

Facebook, digg.com, delicious.com, searchles these are good websites.

 

Twitter and Facebook are the main ones. I also use social bookmarking sites and Digg once in a while.

overall, facebook is great to reach a lot of people with minimal effort. Twitter can get you a lot of traffic but it requires your attention, you have to be an active tweeter. DIGG, StumbleUpon and Reddit are good too if you have a site that people will respond well to.

Only facebook gives a traffic, other may a way of promotion.

In my opinion, any social networking sites will help your site in terms of traffic if used in the right way. Example, you are using facebook or other social network sites in promoting updates about your site, it is really on how you promote it. On how you create content for your targeted market/visitors.

I've gotten lucky with Digg a few times, even with only one digg I was ranked pretty highly by Google for the keyword. A lot of it is luck.
