Thing to add to my Social networking upcoming website ??

Am I missing some key points for my social networking upcoming websites (Mixed Martial Arts) ??

here are my specs :

Contest / Polls / Voting

- Social bookmarking features (tagging and ‘Send to a Friend)

Blogs + Blogrolls. Where you can link to other blogs, thereby encouraging them to link to you.

Podcasts / Radio section

6 different user types. 2 types of subscriptions and the users can pay monthly or yearly for them.

Shout box on the homepage

All sales are between 2 people not site and sellers have a reviews/ratings system

Other sections :

Forum section
Articles/Blog
Search User features
Foundation section
Media
Shop
Contact us

 

Looks pretty good to me!

Just one thing you might want to look into is changing your facebook URL so it goes to facebook.com/IamMMAco instead of all those random numbers in there.

If you have a verified Facebook account, go to http://www.facebook.com/username and choose your page for where it says "Choose Page", click submit and then type in the url where you want users to go. They will be able to go to facebook.com/IamMMAco when your done .

 

I think it looks good man. just make sure that you have a "share" widget or the Facebook "Like" button installed all over. Sharing is going to be one of the absolute biggest things in the near future because Social Media is expanding so fast.

I think you're doing a hella good job of posting content rich media to you Facebook page so I'd just keep on going with what you're doing.

I agree with Peon and one more thing i would like to add try to ammend a chatting application in which a user can use his/her gtalk or skype or hotmail id because buyer or seller might like to chat with each other.You can also add feature user section and new announcement.

Maybe you can add plugins from voip softwares that enable users to video call from the browser.
