Ok guys, So I don't know what is going on , its is very stressing to see that peeps are going to my blogs, but they are not clicking. I started 2 weeks ago, so the traffic its minimum, but still do you guys think my ads are in the right place, or are they blended correctly? Should I use diffrent ad sizes? Please criticize my amateur sites. I know I should do more writing, which I will, I just have to submit some writings I have, they ll be up by tomorrow, but other than that, please tell me about blending, ad sizes, ad placements. and any ideas, advice you might have.

You need to increase your traffic and put your ads in different areas, check your results until you reach your goal.

As for me everything seems to be ok!

One thing which You should work on, is to increase Your traffic... as it is difficult to say anything before You reach minimum 50-100 unique a day IMO...

    hehe

    Nope..
Let me try to show You my point of view... it is simple math...

When you have 10 unique visitors a day (medic2424 said his blog has 2 weeks - and getting traffic needs time - so i think his traffic is very very small) it is difficult to say if all is ok.. why ?

when 0 people click Your ads - You will have 0% CTR... and earn nothing...
When 8 people click You will have 80% CTR and You will start worry about Your adsense account to not be deleted... ;)

In the same way- if You have 100 unique... and 20 people click... then You have 20% CTR... it is easier say if all is OK... my eanglish is poor so i cant explain better :(

It is calculus of probability, and with small amount of traffic it can give You bad deduction. Sometimes is like a first 40 people don't click, and next 10 click... And it this way with first 40 visitors You have 0% CTR, and with all 50 visitors You have 20% CTR...

I hope You know what I mean :)

The best way to get clicks is to publish either no content or useless content. Think about it...if they are wasting time reading the content you won't get paid so you want to frustrate the visitor into leaving via adsense.

use the keyword tool on DP

if you have access to your server stats, you can see what keywords people are using to find your site, and try to use them in your meta tags and content.

No, 50% CTR vs. 2% CTR, take your pick.

oh, and another thing is that you won't get too much traffic through blogspot, or many ctr's either. you don't get very good SE ranking, and people who religiously read blogs just crawl through and most likely have ads blocked or just ignore them, pretty much like a forum mentality.

just host them yourself, it's only a couple of dollars, worth a try atleast.

There was a time when Adsense wasn't well known and people confuse it with natural results. You have to be a little more obtrusive these days with your ad. Put your ad where you'd normally go to look for content...it is my impression that people are more accepting of ads than they used to be.

    Good luck!

What a depressing site. (Just kidding) But your Adsense ads are not relevant to your site. They are about ancestry, DNA, genealogy, and other topics that are probably of little interest to your visitors. Visitors don't click ads if those ads are not interesting to them.

Blogs are notorius for being difficult for Adsense ads. It's an uphill battle to try to make money due to the wide variety of topics being discussed. Google has a hard time trying to match up ads to the content. Furthermore, there may be limited ad inventory for depression, grief, and behavioral therapy.

Looking at your stats, your lack of clicks has nothing to do with your ad placement, and more to do with your not getting any organic traffic. Seems that all your traffic is coming from this forum, and none of us is gonna click your ads dude. You gotta start submitting your sites to some blog directories, or use technorati tags or something... anything else other than linking in this forum.

I dunno about your traffic stats but one look at ur sites, i think the ads layout totally ruin the chances of clicks on them...

Blog 1 is just blantant ads on the top separating in clear lines that the above is not part of the contents. So people will just skip that part..

Blog 2 ads formats are just too blind-ing... black background with red fonts are already quite bad... and u used white as the description text... which makes it look really bad.. my suggestions will be use white for all texts on the ads... including ur adlinks.

    2 pence
