So love , creativity altruism and mercy are bad things . Thats all I wanted to see . If your propaganda will go as far as denning human thought .

 

No they aren't bad things, but they also aren't "illogical". I have explained what benefits they provide and what their naturalistic origins are. Just because you are too dishonest to acknowledge that this has been addressed it doesn't mean it hasn't.

 

I'm a biochemist and there are different receptors for different molecules that effect the emotions of a person. we can determine regions of the brain where specific emotions are mediated. there is the fight or flight response that are quick, reflexive movements that are thought to be mediated by spinal nerves. we are not the far away from understanding emotional responses in more detail.

 

Luckily people who don't understand biochemistry can still just use the "Anything I don't understand is the province of god" argument. LOL

 

Super , would you be so kind to tell us if there is a chemical algorithm behind love . My cousin is also a biochemist but he didn't managed to answer my questions regarding human sensations and behavior and we where talking about just some simple receptors .

 

as far as we know chemicals in the body do not work like an algorithm. its a simple response to stimuli or homeostasis needs.

All instruction, all teaching, all training comes with intent. Someone who writes an instruction manual does so with purpose. Did you know that in every cell of our bodies there exists a very detailed instruction code, much like a miniature computer program? As you may know, a computer program is made up of ones and zeros, like this: 110010101011000. The way they are arranged tell the computer program what to do. The DNA code in each of our cells is very similar. It's made up of four chemicals that scientists abbreviate as A, T, G, and C. These are arranged in the human cell like this: CGTGTGACTCGCTCCTGAT and so on. There are three billion of these letters in every human cell!!

actually this complex system points itself toward its creator. My friends i believe in One GOD.

 

It's not automatic. We have billions of years of evolution to thank for the biochemical systems we now enjoy.

Actually it points away from a creator. No creator would make a system with noncoding DNA and vestigial structures.

The watch isn't part of a group which reproduces, passes on genes and mutates. The watch has no way of coming about on it's own, Animals do though. Just because you lack the intelligence to understand it doesn't mean it's not true.

You seem to have fallen right into my trap when I asked your for a chemical algorithm you know that it was an impossible answers since the human body is an electro-chemical machine and that the electric part is the one that give us headaches .

For a 32 year old man living the state of New York saying he's a biochemist you fell into that one pretty easy . Sorry if this post offended you I just get pissed off when someone says his Alpha & Omega and comes up whit a childish link as his response .

The debate was about the illogicality of love , mercy , altruism and compassion whit all the actions they trigger and such . stOx tried to simplify love to a chemical reaction . And then you came in the picture . Somehow along the way people got the idea that by proving that love is just a bunch of chemicals and volts then they prove that God doesn't exist . And that's where the debate got some heat into it .

If you think you got some data that shows that love is a logical process (and for the sake of it don't simplify it we're not in the 10th grade learning advanced anatomy) please feel free to post them . I've recently update my knowledge about the neurological processes behind emotions but I'm convinced you could provide us whit some interesting data on the matter .
