What can you suggest to me?

I'm doing and having webpages for 3 years and I'm earning about 2-4 $ daily + some extra money for selling links, sponzored articles etc. I thinks it's a good earn but when I see that many people in a few months reach 10$ daily, and they said it's easy, I get very angry.

3 years, and I can't grow my earnings. It's going to slow. I will be and old grandpa when I reach 15$ daily

It's clearly that I'm on the wrong way. Let's start from our country, where Google Ads are veeery low payed and from country which is not supported by most of other sistems for earning - Croatia.

But second, I do a lot of SEO, I'm trying to write popular and succesfull articles etc. All my websites together have a few thousands visitors daily.

What can you suggest me? I think it's a good idea to start an english based blog, not strictly categorized, where I can write about earning, gadgets, electronics, funny things etc.

Now, your ideas? I have a website domaciweb.com (Domaci Web on Croatian means 'domestic or local web'). Can I create a blog in wordpress as a subdomain? Or do I have to buy another domain?

About what should I write? How? SEO?

This blog my ex and i built parentingqna.com (which he runs now) but we were only pulling in around the $5-8 amount per day on clicks... basically it is the type of website depends on the type of ads that are displayed. PQ&A ads are usually around the 50c-$2 mark - with over 1000 viewers to the site daily, we actually make more money from Amazon links and purchases - people always go off on to tangens when browsing websites so this amazon affilate has worked surprisingly well for out Parenting Website (GRRRRR Now his)

Another example a financial website about home loans and money matters - if the content and seo is well written you might get ads relevant to this type of website around $7 plus per click - this was also attempted financethinktank.com but has taken over 12 month to even produce a cent....

anyways hopefully checking out ours (now his) websites might give you a few ideas....

Thank you on ideas. But the problem with me is that I can't speak English very well, I learned it on the internet by using it and in school and I know enough to understand and speak with other people but my grammar and some other things are bad.

The second problem is that I'm only 18 so about parenting I can't write Not yet. And I'm too young to understand loans, money, etc.

I can have a site like this, but it would be difficult for me to write articles. I can write about electronics and web (my hobbies), gadgets, news etc. But this are all low paid niches. Games, which I run on Croatian, are even worse paid.

I was thinking about a blog, not categorized, to write about anything (do-it-yourself, gadget news and reviews, electronics, games, interesting and funny stories, useful tips and tricks etc.). I can find time and submit every day one article, and do lots of SEO on it (Facebook, Twitter, Digg, Stumble Upon, Reddit, Technorati) and sometimes I would advertise my site on forums, blog comments, directories etc.

But can I succed like that? Since this blog would be on English, and most concentrated on text articles (not online games, videos or pictures which are low paid), I think I can earn a good amount, at least to double my earnings.

But on English web is harder to succed so I really need to write quality articles and work a lot on SEO. Which things are the most important for 'quality content'?

 

You speak enough english to do websites in english believe me, I am also not an english native speaker, I think we have the same level of english.
I wouldn't recommend you try the high paying keywords, but rather make websites/blogs about topics interesting to the people who are non technical, such as children, old people, women and men not technical. That way you will get a lot more traffic because non technical people are more numerous than technical people (it wasn't true on the internet 10 years ago but now it's true)
And non technical people will click more on ads than others. So even if the clicks are less paying than loans, more traffic and more clicks per visitor means more money for you.

The topics need to be dumb, it's content for the masses. If you do a website on computing (not so recommended) then do articles such as HOW TO PRINT AN EMAIL, how to send an email, how to print a photo, how to make a birthday card instead of articles on how to make money online or how to make a glowing effect in photoshop. You get my point.

Good luck with it and if you're dedicated enough, please report on your progress on this thread, make it yours for the months to come, and I'll follow your progress, it can be interesting.

 

I know that it's enough to tell something when I want and to understand other people and websites, but I think that grammar and language is important for quality content. I don't know, it's worth to try so maybe I will try Currently, I'm thinking for the name (domain), I don't have lots of ideas for now. And I'm searching for a template.

I got your point, and I can say that you're right. It's true. My plan was to write about funny and interesting articles, useful advices, new gadgets, news etc.

First at all, dont angry or jealous on those people who earn better. You dont even know how hard working they are, and how much time they spending on their website.

Then, spend more time on reading, read more related posts and books. then, keep on tying and monitor the result.

Reading about webpages and SEO? I sometimes read, but I read this forum very often. I have learned a lot from it but for example I now opened a new site which rapidly got lots of visits (I was lucky to find a good tematic) but this niche is low or even nothing payed. I have one site with 150-300 visitors daily which earns more than this site with 300 - 500 visitors daily.

What are the topics you plan on talking about?

 

I'm thinking... I was planned to write about almost everything, I kind of entertainment site, so funny and interesting articles, new gadgets, news, how to do something, do-it-yourself, instructions, gaming etc etc. But I don't know if wide categorized site like this will succed.

I was thinking and about microniches but investitions are huge (lots of domains).

 

So you don't need any keyword in the domain name since it will be general topics. So you don't want to have a dash in the domain name.
If there is no keyword to target, then the name can be anything really. like this one which is available (when I write) 3wdotcom.com or many others easy to find, maybe easier to remember it's better such as buzzthisnow.com

And by the way wide categorised sites like this can succeed, it's not a problem. But in english it's always harder to get good ranking at first. Look my site I opened 1 year and a half ago, ok I don't post content myself, but it's very general content, and it's getting a few thousand visitors a day, which is enough for some good money for you:

What you need to do if you post content yourself, is to use google insights and talk ONLY about topics that are popular amongst searchers.

For domain, I know it can by anything but I want that it's not to long, easy to remember and that it means something. I was trying for example freetimekiller.com, bestentertainment.com etc. but all busy. buzzthisnow.com sounds good

But I have another problems. My hosting is full (no more addon domains avaliable) and space is almost full. On another hosting, which I share with my friends, I don't like to make it full too because it's not only mine. And now I need to create another website for my brother too.

I will have to buy a hosting paket on Hostgator with unlimited space, bandwith and domains and transfer all my websites there.

 

I use dreamhost, it's way better than hostgator because for example, adding whois privacy is free on dreamhost and $25 in hostgator, what a rip off!
I have invitation codes for dreamhost, see my shetoldme site on the left column if you want.
Anyway, I can't tell how much I get for my site because it is not allowed by adsense, only gross payments.
But anyway, I do adsense revenue sharing on my site, so I don't earn 100% of what one could earn, also most of the content pages are very short because done by members not by me, and probably they copy and paste their description on several social sites.
So to sum it up, it's better you do a site not like mine, not yet another social bookmarking site because you're likely to fail believe me, but a general buzz sites, where you write only about popular topics (non technical) that you've analysed in google insights. And you'll have visits eventually, better than any other shit idea such as high paying keywords and niche microsites.

For me dreamhost is better, I had a dreamhost and hostgator accounts at one point, and now I have only dreamhost. But everyone can take what he prefers. Hostgator is certainly not a bad choice, there are much worse choice to do online, but for me dreamhost is better. I have this invitation codes which gets you a big discount for 2 years. Dreamhost doesn't have cpanel, it has its own panel, developped in house, much better in my opinion, I've tested both remember.

Buzz is just a word which means everything that is talked about online or offline. Search for buzz on wikipedia.

I told you if you use google insights cleverly every day and each time you start a new article, you can work on your site for months without never asking yourself what can I write about. And those articles will always be interesting to people and search engines.

 

Now I think that I can try dreamhost, if you tell that it's better. You're right when you say that everyone can take what he prefers, but to me is only important to get as more as it's possible options for low price. I see that dreamhost has only one package, but it's not expensive and it has all things unlimited, which I need (especially domains, space and bandwith) and for me is important support (because my websites are hacked very often; I'm used tu argue with other webmasters and get them angry ) and then is important a good, often and quality backup, and speed.

Then this domain would be OK!

Google insights? I have never heard about that before. I now visited it, looks great, but can you give me some useful advices how to use it the best? You wanted to say that this can give me every day an idea what to write about? If this is so, it will be very useful to me because sometimes I just don't know what to write about.

Ok, I will tell you. My brother has birthday in tuesday and his page is my gift (I created him a page) and we will buy the domain tomorrow and then I will buy mine too. So, for now, site will stay probably on old hosting of my friends, untill I find time to buy new and transfer all my webpages.
