    Yes it worth buying coz it price is quite cheap compare to other
    But i have seen some DP member complaint about them

    They are plenty of free scripts available to setup a facebook or social network clone.

    Elgg looks good and from what I've seen they are about the most professional offering out there. I'm looking for people who have worked with Elgg to learn of possible problems, etc...

    I agree. I used their script before. Didn't have a good experience with it. There are better scripts out there. Take a look in hotscripts.

    Honestly, asking questions here is extremely problematic. Many of those posting responses have their own agendas. Some are bitter about a past script that didn't meet their expectations. Others are trying to promote their own script, or hurt a competitors.

    I think your best bet is to check out all the social networking scripts yourself, play around on the demos, and speak to the sales people about support. Just do a search and see what you find. In the end, it matters more about what you do with a script than the script itself. Best luck.
