I don't believe that's hard to code something like that, all that you need is a hosting account with WHM and cPanel :p
Especially for phpRoxy that's extremely easy to do.(but ofc it will take you time to complete it :) )

Felt bad asking the questions since I got annoyed with it a couple years ago as well, but I've got $20 in my paypal and $80 in my adsense account so thought I'd give it a go. :)

Guys why i can't access proxy.org now? The msg is:

Your request was blocked by BlockScript based on the policies of the proxy.org website.

BlockScript is a PHP script which enables webmasters to quickly and easily deny access to problematic users that are difficult to block using standard methods. BlockScript detects and blocks requests from all types of proxy servers and anonymity networks (such as web-based proxies, open proxies, Tor, VPN servers, etc.), hosting networks, undesirable robots and spiders, and even entire countries. For more infromation, see: www.blockscript.com

Hello everybody. I've been out of the proxy scene for more than 2 years and I would like some enlightenment on a certain issue. Which PPC advertisement are most of you using? I did some quick click on some newer proxies and I don't see any ads on any of them.

P.S. I tried on both IE and FF.

It depends on server/vps power. If it is powerfull and it has a lot of CPU and RAM, you can host thousend proxy sites.

So X Proxy Host (by Vectro) is a good one then? Has anyone else used them? Traffic to my sites has dropped significantly since I switched to VPSNoc, so I need to find a new host quick. Thanks.

As you can read on previous posts, not all vps vendors let set up a proxy site.
Proxy sites consume a lot of resource: bandwidth and expecially CPU.
If you take a Xen vps, it's better. OpenVZ vpses, which costs less, are probabily not comfortable.
Ask the provider whether you are allowed to set up a proxy or not.
