Well i tell something as my own opinion many people read news paper in the morning as to see whats the latest news going on as in the morning people are in the rush so just give it a look like whats going on and then when they get time or access to the internet from school , library , office or any where they try to search those hot topics to read about them in details so i might suggest that u also read new paper and then choose any 1-2 most hot topics and then search them on internet and read abt them from different site n then use your own words to explain more in details. Like now a days many different types of health diseases appearing veryday people are very cautious abt health and they look around for preventions measures so u can write in detail abt those topics etc and then try to post yr link on relavant website like medical treatments etc so people will come to know u have something which can help them indeed beside that lots of people also face many problems using internet like many poeple face browser cache problem page, page not displaying properly as now a days internet is too common n almost every one use it somehow so people also face new problems u can look around some forums that what most common problem people are facing n try to write something abt them so on n on there is lot n lot more to go it will get whole night just to explain but choose any one among these in which there is yr personal interest so u can write more in details no matter what yr site looks like people want informative material if u have then u r their first choice.

But in our country is difficult to find advertisers, that's the reason I think TLA is special. 9$ for link monthly? You can only dream about it in our country... With site on english, my life would be easier.

Oh, I didn't see your post (again). You probably posted while I was writing :) Your ideas are good, but this kind of site asks lots of work; every morning I need to look on the internet (my local newspapers wouldn't help me for english site because they're writting mostly about news in our country), and site on Croatian about that has big concurency. In our small country, there are hundreds of news portal which got their reporters who're writting about everything (news, politics, accidents etc.).

It's a good idea but I won't work that much on my site. I will work when I'm free, a few times a week or month, mostly on saturday and sunday etc. I can't work when it asks me, I work only when I'm free and this is on weekend and other days eventually late in the evening. News must be written in the morning, when I'm at school and after school I have to study.

This second idea is also good, about health, maybe I will write something about that. And your third idea, about internet problems, this I will use. I will probably write answers on most posted questions on forums etc. I will have probably a section Internet for begginers and Computer for beginners etc.

This was a response to @www.SENSERELEY.com since I didn't see your post. And ist's not problem from where I am. My sites are on local language, Croatian. This is the problem. I can't get visitors from all the world because most countries doesn't even know what is Croatia and where it's located, about language there's no need to talk. Only we, and our 'neighbours' understand our language. In our country, it's easier to success but ads are less payed, everything is working on less amounts (so and link exchanging too). buzzthisnow.com will be my first site on English.

Sorry, but this is not related to this kind of topic... I can't have a real job. I'm only 18! First I need to finish secondary school and then I'll probably go to college so I won't be looking for job at least next 6-8 years. In this time, I will try to earn with web, and maybe I will reach a good ammount (in our country, average salary is 700 € per month, they say on the TV few days ago) so 20€ daily will be great, at least for beggining. Till I don't have my family, I can live from this. Later, when I'll have my own family, this would be too risky (AdSense can BAN my sites or hackers can destroy it) so I will open my own turnover for web services. As I said:

I want to work alone, to have my own working time and to be me own boss. On this way, you can spend a lot more time with your family. For example, today I will work the whole day, tomorrow again and then I will go for a holiday with my family on 7 days. After we return, I will work more than regular and I don't have to open 'sick leave' or 'vacation' or justify to the boss.

But, till I'm going to school, I can play and this is the right time to work on this kind. If I grow my business till I finish college, I won't have need to find the job. If I fail, I will have to find the job.

I will get crazy with this Drupal! It's sooooo slow and it's making a pressure on my SQL database so when I change some options, It get's me lot's of SQL errors after 5 minute loading! I can't do nothing... From beginning, it didn't show me any good thing... I think I will stay on Wordpress...

Where can I actually create categories from my content? Where can I turn on WYSIWYG editor? Where can I manage my menus, sidebars, where can I apply new template, install it? I can't find this things... How to install plugins? I need a Facebook Like pluggin and so many others...

    read http://drupal.org/documentation

Don't go crazy with modules you don't need, but look, me on dreamhost I have MANY websites done with drupal, on only one account.
I usually create them directly online, and when I'm done I activate cache.
    Modules are here http://drupal.org/project/modules
but if you installed Acquia, you should have basic things such as WYSIWYG editor, personally I have never put such an editor on any site of mine. I installed one at first when I was starting with Drupal, like you, because I thought it was cool to have one, but it lasted about one month, after I concluded I didn't need such a thing, and I never installed another one on any of my sites.

Even on multiuser sites (with adsense revenue sharing) I don't put WYSIWYG editors, there's no need to.

After I posted yesterday, I went reading on SiteGround about Drupal, and I finally learned some stuff. I even found a template which I'll maybe use. Actually, when I'm doing a web page, the hardest part is to find a good design. I want a design that will be complicated and simple at once. I want that a design for my site has two menus in header (top menu and main menu), main menu must have a drop down option, design must have at least 2 sidebars, must be in Web 2.0 standard, have a rich footer (not only copyright), Share buttons etc. And I don't like designs who are too simple (a few colors in background) but I don't like the designs with lots of images neither. My design must be practical and elegant. The design which I found for wordpress (I show you) had almost all the things I need but I looked over 200 templates before I found it. I lost the whole day for finding design and now I have to do the same thing for Drupal. I found a cool design but I will need to work a little bit on it because it has only one sidebar and it doesn't have top menu. This I will easily create but the problem is if it doesn't have a drop down menu for subcategories (for example, I will create a main category Internet and then subcategories How to & Tips, News, Internet Earning etc. and then again main category Technology with subcategories News, Gadgets, How to & Tips etc. and then I want that, when I mouseover my main category, below it appears a drop down menu with subcategories). Drop down menu is harder to create on your own (I was trying once but I never succed 100% because it was working in all browsers perfectly but in IE it was not aligned as it should be).

Since my Drupal on localhost was too slow and it shows me lots of Apache and SQL mistakes on Error Report, I uploaded it on www.buzzthisnow.com but I didn't move my database so it's currently offline. Now the weekend is coming and I will work more on it and add this design. But if you know or find a design which has all the things I need, you can give me the link for download. I will appreciate this.

I will activate cache too as soon as find where is this :p

I know that modules are here but there are thousands... I will try to find on some sites a list of the best modules for my needs. I installed Acquia and it has lots of modules but I didn't activated all this yet, because, is I said, I was activating one by one, pushing Save changes after every module. When I tried to check more than one modules and then pushed Save changes, it was Loading a few minutes and then it cames 'Server didn't respond' or some similar errors.

WYSIWYG editor maybe it's not so necessary because I noticed that Drupal, as on forums, can recognize paragraphs, new lines etc. but sometimes I bold words, justify paragraphs, change colors etc. I know HTML but I don't want to write in codes, only when I need to add some embed, iframe, PHP or other codes. And yes, I need a module for adding images. I won't upload images trough FTP and then adding them by code. I want a uploader, similar to this on Wordpress or Joomla, it doesn't need to be flash but it must have an Add Image button that I can click on it, select image on my HDD and upload it and then that I can adjust size, ALT, description and captions and push Insert image into post. And I need an uploader for other files such as RAR files, programs, documents etc.

So, in conclusion, I need all that things. I won't use FTP, codes or such things. My CMS must be as more simplifed as it can be, that I can login on my page from any computer in the world and work on it without need of Photoshop, Dreamweaver, FTP client and other software. For example, in computer class in school, the things that we are learning I already know so I'm bored there and I have one hour and a half to work on my sites. But our computers are very weak and they have NOTHING installed, only windows with IE browser. So there I don't have FTP or other software.

And other thing is that I never have enough time. Time is not only money, time is gold. So I need to have a possibility to write articles as faster as I can. So; no codes, no FTP, no manually adding things. My CMS must 'work for me'. When I use wordpress, I install lots of plugins that are doing SEO for me: scripts that are automatically subbmitting my content to popular Social Bookmarking sites. I come to school, login to my site, write something, add some images and push Publish now. All is ready! I don't have to correct anything, to do SEO or to use some external software. The same thing I want from Drupal.

And I also need a module that I can preview my content directly on site without publishing it (as Wordpress has, Joomla haven't this feature so it's going on my nerves). And, one cool thing that Wordpress have, I would like to have in Drupal but it's not neccesary; number-of-words counter.

But I saw that Drupal has many modules so I believe that I can find all that things. The main reason I started using Drupal is that it looks to me more professionaly and for example; wordpress sites I can recognize immediately when I open a site, while Drupal can be modified totaly. Even admin theme can be changed so I will modify it that nobody can recognize that I'm using an free CMS. They will think that it's a HTML site or that I created my own CMS :) And Wordpress is more for begginers, it's really to easy. You install it and you can add content immediately, without learning.

Another Google program? How much programs, scripts and sites do they have? Hehe. Thank you on your suggestion, I will take a look on it :D Currently, I don't have lots of time so my site waits. I need to set up Drupal and find some good template.

If you want to earn more money, you'd better find out what's your advantages first, then, choose a most appropriate career, and you don't have to limited yourself in GG ADwords, there are many other affiliate advertising.

I didn't understand you very good but are you trying to say that there are other programs for earning money? The problem is that my site is on Croatian so lots of this programs can't accept my websites. A few months ago I found on my friend's web (the same language as mine) Xtend Media ads. But they rejected me (probably the reason is low ammount of traffic) and they serve ads and pop up windows. I was calculating and with their program I could raise my earnings for 50$ monthly. I tried contacting them once again but they never replied to my e-mail.

    Hi people!

I didn't finished my webpage yet and Drupal is stopping me! Sorry JamesColin, but I think I will use Wordpress... This Drupal is not only difficult... It's confusing and I don't like/understand the way it's made. The main webpage is connected with admin panel, which is the most stupid thing I've ever seen! I don't want to have an User Login form on my site so I removed it. But when I logged out, I can't login anymore! When I tipe /admin, it only says that it's a restricted area and that I can't access, but where is the login form?? What the hell??

Admin panel MUST BE isolated from the main visible website! When I'm logged in as administrator, my homepage (buzzthisnow.com) looks absolutely different, which is going on my nervs! I want to see my homepage always the same: on the same way as other visitors see it. That's the reason I want to isolate admin panel from website. Is it possible?

You should use module administration menu. As for seeing the site differently, use another browser to look at your site as a visitor, for instance I use firefox as admin and internet explorer or chrome as a visitor.
If you don't want the login block, you can either set it to display only on admin* or you can go directly to yoursite.com/user to login.

Drupal is the best but you're welcome to use any inferior product, it's not my life :)

I didn't say it's bad :) But the market for webpages is less paid, and there are less people to watch it (it has only 4.5 million people) but it's easier to success in local market...

    @JamesColin

Later I discovered this /user but for me it's a little bit confusing this that admin panel and main website are connected. And I destroyed everything yesterday. I tried to upgrade it on Drupal 7 but now I see only lots of errors on my webpage :)

I believe it's the best but it's too complicated. It's almost like creating your own CMS. I know some things in PHP and SQL and I'm able to create my own CMS (I created a few CMSes) but I became very lazy and I don't have a lot of time so I'm looking for something that I can install and set-up in one hour and start writting and collecting visitors :)

I'm really interested in webpages but since I'm too busy theese days, I use it only for earnings. Now I'm going to college so I'll need money. So for me is currently not important which CMS, or on which way I get visitors. It's only important to grow my earnings, as quickly and as simple is it possible. I even started using PTC again :)

Then download Drupal 7 as it is available since yesterday, hahaha.
Anyway you need to think for your future, not in short time gain, but long time investment for your earnings in the future. At least that's what I know now, maybe you need to learn that first :)
