Is there a market for adult site, video, image hosting?

Question in the title

 

There's a market for just about anything related to the adult entertainment industry. Even when there's tons of other sites like it, you'll probably do well.

 

I would say that there is still a market or should i say i hope so because i am working on 2 new sites covering both of these subjects.The image site goes live next week and the video site in a couple of weeks time !!!!

 

Yes, there is a big need for adult hosting because traditional hosts do not allow adult content on shared servers. But in order to provide adult hosting you have to have a server DC that allows such content on their servers.

 

Yup, I think there is definitely a market for adult hosting. However, you have to make sure that wherever your server is located, the datacenter better allow it. Otherwise, you could get shut down for hosting adult content.

 

There still have a room to be filled at those niche.
But you must be creative by not offering those thing that already have in market.
Try to offer something that user want but there still not exist on the market.
Be prepare to spent lot of money coz this type of site used up lot of bandwidth.

 

I am pretty sure you could make a good sum of money, but you would have a crap load of competition. The adult industry is very, very hard to get started in.

There is a massive market think about it what is porn... Content... Content is king on the internet ...the better your content the more money you make in the end... Imagine a facebook for adults or even better if you didnt want to do a script like that imagine a site oh.... like http://www.thewetfox.com where you have a social networking site and video, image hosting that not only allows you to upload content it also allows you to monetize on the traffic your images / videos get...

Imagine:

you upload videos of content ----> your videos are featured and gets 110,000 hits in a month ----> You Earned on average if not more .01 for each hit ----> $0.01 (CPH) x 110,000 (H) = $1,100.00 a month in residual revenue which comes in every single month...

You didn't have to market the videos or do any hardcore programming just upload videos

many companies have generated millions of dollars using this method companies like ehow.com / about.com etc... they call it residual income...

so to answer your question yessssssssss massive market...

Oh and there will always be room for new sites and businesses... this is a thriving industry which is why Im taking my two feet and jumping right in because content is always in demand and many people who want to be a part of this industry can be with so many niches, feet, teens, grannies, interracial etc etc etc times 100 ... its recession proof and its addictive!!! ... keep in mind the internet was invented for porn

 

yes, definitely. Porn sites have high hosting requirements compared to other niches, so it's always a good opportunity.

 

funkywizard is right. Don't forget the continually growing server and bandwidth costs.
