Hire 10 really good webdevelopers and SEO people (2 designers, 2 programmers, 3 SEO, 3 SEM consultants)

Around $100.000/year each (for pretty good ones) makes $1M/year.

Spend another $1M on advertising, online marketing, content writing, PR, etc.

You need a budget of $2M (for the first year) to start with.

Start with launching 5 quality websites, then you can always add more to your network.

I GUARANTEE you that, you will make the $1M within first year.

You also need to be smart to be able to make good business decisions, and be a professional to be able to manage those people and sites, and also work pretty hard.

I think it is possible, then again anything is. Every time I set myself a goal I achieve it, if I can do it I'm guessing most people can....

but seriously, I would advise setting small goals and working off of them. The website in my sig, I made 29 cents on it's first day. After that I aimed to make $2 in a day. When acheived that I wanted $20. I kept working at that, advertising, promoting, I developed some relationships with other webmasters who helped promote my site. My highest day so far has been over $1,200. Now if I said I was going to make that much in one day when I started with 29 cents my first day people would probably laugh and say that was crazy. However, as long as you aim for more everyday, nothing is impossible. Every waterfall starts with a drop of water.

My advice to you is to read as much as you can off this message board, there's a lot of good advice and good ideas floating around. See what works, what doesn't. When you get enough experience you'll find an area that you can make a good amount of money in.

 

Hey I love some of the replies ... Anythings possible - but remember - To make money, you must spend money ... this is Fact. Making a million bucks has downfalls too, if you are in the UK you'd pay 19% on the first £200k made- then 40% for £800k - so remember it's flippin fantastic being a millionaire, however the tax man loves us!! || If i was you ... start low - aim for $50,000 - this is still quite a lot of money, spend very little on yourself, plow as much as possible back into your business, then over the years maybe you can make the money you are after.

1. Word of advice, when you have made it, keep it secret ... Make sure you help others, don't be a pratt and start driving flash cars, Invest it wisely.

2. It's really hard then to get to your next cash goal - After making a million what next? 5 million, 10 million - these are good goals - but need bloomin hard work to achieve ... but anything in this world is possible

i know working hard and good planning will take me to my dream. i plan to have more sites towards acheiving my goal and i still need good advice.

I guess it depends on where you're starting from. Very few people make that much in many years, let alone 12 months.

You probably want to try something viral, it's really the only way.

I think Kingsley has a goal - million in 10 months could be because either he is naive or he is trying to juice out the info from the pros.

I think he shouldn't have posted asking for help because to achieve his goal - all he has to do is read posts on this forum dated at least couple of years back and work his way up. I think it could take at least a month to read all the sensible posts.

Chart out a game plan on whatever you wish to implement to achieve you goal/s.

Implement them and keep an eye on your progress. If some implementation is hurting then you better stop and think how to revert the harm. Million bucks of the web by sitting on your ass - possible! We all sit on our ass and work our ass off to make it big on the web. Timing is the question!
