I am having a hard time generating user clicks on my website http://schollaart|net. What am I doing wrong? Any suggestions would be helpful... I am also not getting any clicks on my other site http://jpauls|net and I have multiple users. Maybe I am doing something wrong.

well, if u want better results, stuff a big adsense block with pictures next to it(DONT forget to put a border between!!) on the top of your page...
skyscraper ads on the side arent getting many clicks in general

Is it worth cluttering up the results and such with ads right in the middle. This is a fairly new site, and I don't want users to be turned away by all the ads. Do you think I will scare users away by placed some central sectioned ads?

On your site http://schollaart|net your ads are very badly located. You have one on the right and another one at the button of your page. I think you should change their position to a more visible location.

well my suggestion is , take off the ads. Get the site going well. Then make the site offline with the ads. (Like get the html files of the site and add the adsense code in offline and if it works then upload it)

I repositioned schollaart|net ads. I think I will remove jpauls|net ads altogether and if it takes off, spamalize it... wow I suck.

I just want to say, I am new to these forums, and they are amazing! You guys are all a ton of help.

LMesh, do you have a personal website I can view?

Blend more and make the ads so they dont look or feel like ads make then to feel as apart of the site. This will increase your CTR and earnings. but also don't limit yourself to adsense you may be able to make more or additional money with CPA or CPM offers.

I feel your pain - I have been trying AdSense off an on again over the past three years. You may want to go AdSense "naked" for a little while and then try the more strategically placed ads. Let readership build up a little, then slowly introduce ads into the mix.

You need a fair amount of traffic to generate much revenue. Try placing your ads more prominently, i.e. where people look to find content.

Blend your ads to match site colors.
Place ads in hot spots where eyes normally go
    Place ads within content.

    Works for me.
